yes Vladimir Potanin has a big image problem with pollution to overcome and a tailor made opportunity to get in to the sustainability arena and make billions at the same time. Last year he got about $1.6 Billion wealthier at over $19 Billion. So the notion that NN cant afford us isn't really an issue, I can see Chinese money involved worst case. Its interesting that the Artic project got vetoed by a shareholder wanting a dividend, at least with Eurasia you can see cash generation very quickly, much more palatable. The FSP was a smart move to keep bidders on their toes and ensure maximum value for the assets.
Id love to know whose name is on the Volchetundra exploration licences and what the DFS at WK looks like.

When you look at Monchegorsk, the thought of another organisation moving in to the area to develop MT would be a humiliation to NN, its their back yard and Monchegorsk is in effect a NN mining town. MT is as off the shelf as a mining project gets, i'd be amazed if their is no NN involvement in the purchase of Eurasia.

google it and read up on it, It appears that NN have moved many operations to Monchegorsk and as a socially responsible company ( trying to become one) they are investing in the wider communities they work in. One of their stated aims is to become greener, locals want Elon Musk to stop buying from them until they prove their serious about pollution and the environment.
Which handily fits with having huge reserves of green metals on their doorstep in Monchegorsk owned by us. A tailor made opportunity to persue a green agenda, create a beautiful city with lots of jobs and happy residents, make tons of money and look like heroes. The cost for all this wonderfulness is very simple, buy us and get on with it.

This month I expect. Although it's a big deal they are not reinventing the wheel and it's not as if companies were sniffing around just recently. This has been a long time in the making. Board chsnges and DLA Piper are the endgame. I hope!!!!!

I emailed NN investor relations and had the answer within an hour. It is technical transaction. Norilsk Nickel issued a guarantee to Societe Generale Bank for its 100% subsidiary MTO’s loan.

Horses mouth as I said previously.

you're assumption that the RNS was designed to calm the price is not correct, it was about information in the market, the Board was stating that their is no other information other than that which had been RNSd previously, which referenced 40mozs of PGMs.
Its a mistake many here are very happy to either believe or spread, either way it was not the boards intention to to influence the SP. I asked.

The comments were bordering disparaging......lots of problems.....screen price.....im guessing he doesn't imagine EUA will be clients much longer to be that casual in his asides.
However its good to know the screen price is substantial!! I think it comes down to the 25mozs in the wider area. With South Africa struggling, EUA and the area are far more than just another resource.

ive just been looking at numbers and US $5billion is about £1.00 per share factoring in exchange rate and 80% ownership of MT, but its just a number because we really don't know the full picture on the resource figures that may or may not be agreed upon.
I believe that from what the company has put out they want full value on MT at 15mozs and expect something for the access to the wider region. Additional Resources at greater depth , RREs, the upgrade at WK etc make this really open ended and I can see a case for $7 Billion being made quite easily.

So in effect you have an RNS that says nothing!! I don't know what they are obliged to do in these situations but it would be a strange scenario to release a public statement that has no information with which to make any informed conclusions. Not withstanding NDAs it could be the deal to buy a new toaster or EUA!!
Anyway lets see what happens!!
