The situation is that another country with a project has to ratify an act of parliament, once done all projects can be announced. Daft but there it is.

Why were the EU arranging meetings with financiers for GRoc? Because its going to get strategic project status and they need to progress Amitsoq regardless of the public announcement. The upside here is that there may not be a big time lag between announcement of project status and a serious funding announcement.

People are loaded and it seems to be below the radar, when we get strategic the rise will put it on peoples radar and the expectation of funding will loosen the wallets

i agree with that. Too important to sit around waiting for some other minor project to get its act together, Mullins' post shows Greenland are going to greenlight Amitsoq, only thing missing is the funding element and thats clealy being worked on.

Nothing to do with that, EU wants to announce all projects together, were just waiting for stragglers, even then they wont wait forever. Stefan was advised the announcement is imminent and that was last week around the conference, where the EU actually hooked Stefan up with OEM battery makers and financiers. He would have gone in to that room with full possession of the facts regarding Strategic Project status as it would have been material to those manufacturers. The EU has to keep all those big companies onside, there are nearly 14 million jobs associated with the car industry alone in the EU.

Not withstanding EU stupidity in not announcing Project Status for those significant projects ready to move forward whilst it waits for non ready projects to get their act together, it does see from Stefan's comments that finance for the project is being worked on now, those in the closed meeting will have wanted to know the EUs position on Project Status and EU funding to inform their own decisions. So we wait ( not long, as the project delays are minor allegedly) for confrirmation of what we know is coming, only upside is we wont have long to wait thereafter for a funding update as the project is clealy very important to the EUs car industries and defense industries.

It has.....hence the special finance and OEM offtaker meeting yesterday, Stefan said "Strategic projects have been decided on and are ready to go"

Just waiting for a few issues on other projects to be resolved and they will announce the projects all at once.

Stefan will be in the middle of his session with financiers and OEMs ( his words), Strategic Project Status has been decided but just not yet announced, direct from a senior official at DG Grow. Would the EU and EIT be putting on this special meeting for GROC without informing Stefan of their position on Strategic Project Status before this meeting I wonder? These people would surely want to know this, as it is material to the financing of the project at Amitsoq.

Get Strategic project status, they get funding, get the funding they get the licence.

Positive signs coming from the conference....

Stefan is doing a closed session on behalf of the EU to businesses at the conference, thats how significant Amitsoq is, they wouldnt do that without supporting the projects and sharing that information with those present in that room.

Stefan has made it clear he sees both the EU and America as customers and has signed NDAs with car makers including TESLA in both jurisdictions. America will probably be better for the mine finance, they'll just get on with it whereas the Europeans will need to have lots of meetings. Be great fun to get strategic project status and get a bid from the US! Could happen.

EU need to pull their fingers out! Itll be snatched from right under their noses.

He certainly expects it, dont imagine hes as confident as he is solely on his own opinions, he must have had some sort of feedback but obviously cant say anything, but his demeanour says hes very very confident its in the bag! Hope you get your million!
