Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
mentioning that at the same time Teddy Sagi sold part of his stake in PTEC he purchase Camden Stables Market plus some other property in that area for I assume for possible future development at a cost of approx £400 million which would explain the reason for the share sale as a opposed to a lack of confidence in PTEC .However I am still a holder although I bottled it last week and sold some at a loss but I will not make the same mistake again for the same reasons mentioned by abacus and the apparent confidence shown in the sp rise during the past week and may it long continue !
today reads as follows :" Playtech chairman comments at the AGM that they are on the acquisition trail which led to gossip that it could team up with CVC Partners and launch a knock-out cash offer." For what ?. That sounds a bit vague to me , can anyone else make better sense of it ?
For what its worth I do feel much more confident about the future prospects of PTEC than has been reflected in the recent downwards spiral of the sp. I think the only answer if you are in for the long term now is to wait for the sp to recover and not be tempted as I was last week to sell part of my holding .The fundermentals are still basicly the same with a solid cash position , new markets to tap into and hopefully deals in the offing IMVHO.
They look as if they are going to follow yesterdays pattern.I made a 20% loss on the ones I have just sold but this share is almost in free fall what is happening ? surely it can"t be the MM"s playing their games we are not on the AIM. market this is a 250 company .Are any of the other on line gaming companies down?
Have just sold almost half of my shares @ £5.95 on line and by the time I had completed the sale they were down another 7p. I hope for a revival today but am not very confident , a bird in the hand and so on but we shall see!
of 700,000 shares or in monetery terms almost one and a half million quids worth ! which I believe is virtually his entire holding !.Somebody please help me out with this have I misconstrued or rather misinterpreted what has taken place?. A massive confidence shaker IMHO.
dubzy I have been concerned about the declining sp for the past two months and would have sold part of my holding yesterday had the price not slipped further so today I was keen to hopefully see the sp rise and then sell . I should be so lucky I can only hope the sp recovers by the close today and see what happens tomorrow. As usual it makes little sense twice as many buys as sells!
should read "hundred thousand shares"
schlepper are you sure you have got that right? Do you not mean 1 step forwards and 2 steps backwards. Sorry to sounnd so sceptical but after the best part of approx 16 years in this share I do dispare. I just felt at last it might be going somewhere and then suddenly after 10 days or so of trading several hundred shares each or most of those day it just stopped DEAD in heavens name what is that all about ? .What started the surge in the first place it is not logical because someting or someone had to set the wheels in motion or am i missing something ?
your not kidding but what is the answer? Like many I was pleased with the RNS and subsequent rise in the sp then yesterdays fall made me wonder if it was likely to follow the previous pattern of drifting down almost daily which although it"s early days makes me wonder if it is time to jump ship and cut losses which I regret to say are steadily mounting.I am aware of the fundementals and still believe in this company bu tat the present rate of decline the sp could well drop below £6 in very short order.I can assure posters I am not a NO Deramper but just trying to be realistic and protect my hard earned cash. Abacus what is your take on the SP please?
wadnob I think that is a little too much to expect but would not be surprised to see it within the next couple of weeks .As abacus points out substancial money in the bank and encourageing growth in Asia and they are prolific gamblers in the Far East so no lack of demand in that respect.Still be nice to finish 20p + up on the day and look forward to a steady climb on to the £7 + level.
