I’m not as up to speed on the Protos park as many researchers about development from other companies on site. Planning the demand for services, empty plots, stock contracts for the Protos site companies is also a consideration for delays.
Perhaps we will see several companies all move at the same time.
As an investor with PHE my gut feeling is the SP will remain volatile until 2023 when an evaluation of performance becomes evident.
My thoughts are the plant may have two stages, Stage 1 Electric output, Stage 2 Electric and Hydrogen.
Companies with a vested interest in waste recycling or power to solutions will change the market price for high calorific waste. Competition, Collaboration between companies seems logical in the push to address end of life waste as more enter the market.
So, my current position is to hold and watch cash burn, development of partners, value of waste and others involved in trying to address the legacy of industrialisation.
