I think Johan comments about the number of ATP strike days has been badly received. Let's hope it's not that bad in reality - just get through rest of July and August relatively unscathed and share price will recover and then some - especially if they announce a dividend payment with final results. Wizz Air down 2.76% today so hopefully this is just one bad day.
Thanks @Fume
What's the percentage of the shorting?
DHL (the Easyjet baggage handler) has called off the strikes after improved offer. The other handlers still in strike.
Now cleared for take off on Thursday 🛫
Thanks @Stille - I have to get as good as you on the hangar refills!
The Heathrow security strikes were announced on 2 June and were due to start on 24 June.On 12 June Unite postponed the strikes after receiving an improved pay offer that the members accepted. So the good news is that Unite will postpone strikes if they got a good offer. Hopefully that happens in Gatwick mega soon.
Just read that Unite has a strike ballot closing on 31 July for the other baggage handlers working for Gatwick Direct, Red Handling and Wilson James. Talks are taking place with DHL, GGS and Menzies with Unite this week so let's hope this gets sorted soon - preferably before Thursday.
Barclays has today raised its target to 620 from 580.
Just read that Unite came to an agreement for Heathrow security staff just before th e strikes were due to start in mid-June so hopefully the same brinkmanship at Gatwick.
I can feel the heat from Johan on DHL at al to get this sorted quickly. He won't want this dispute screwing up the trading update.
Just read Unite has been offered 11% and Unite accepted 16% increase for Gatwick security staff. Unite is probably holding out for 16% for these workers as well. Looking at an overall increase of about £6 million but the difference is under £2 million, so peanuts in the scheme of things. It would cost EZJ about £1 million as currently has 54% share of Gatwick flights.
DHL talking to Unite early next week and a deal was recently struck with Gatwick security. Chance might be some good news before the trading update.
8 days of baggage handling and ground staff end July and early August. I've used price drop to buy more before the trading update.
Hi does anyone know what's happening with MySpace? I see on its website that it now has what I think are two nekw board members, so looks like they have a new board as requested by the regulator.
Does anyone know if they have paid the arrears and/or if SOHO will now keep them as a provider.
Thanks

Interesting to note that share price was 494 On 14 May then soared to 520 On 17 May the day before half year results - high was 532.5 on 18 May.
Share price was 488 On 14 April then rose to 511 On 17 April the day before six month update. High was 532.9 on 18 April.
I can see the same happening for the next update with lower fuel and really high holiday bookings unless there's a major event beforehand.

Jan 23 update - forward sales 62.5% of Mar 2022 forecast
Mar 23 update - forward sales 68.8% of Mar 2022 forecast.
Apr 23 update - forward sales 70.8% of Apr 2022 forecast.
If this continues to increase likely to exceed the April 23 guidance of sales at the top end of the 8000-9000 forecast.
May UK Core Inflation rate due on 21 June. Forecast is 5.8% down from April actual of 6.8%. A drop to anywhere near 5.8% will help to allay concerns. A drop here would help to limit next bank rate increase on 22 June to 0.25%.
Trading update on 6 July - share price has soared on the last two. On 26 April advised forward sales of £1.7bn up from£1.52bn on FY results - and sales at the higher end of 8,000 to 9,000 guidance.
60p dividend is £192mn cost down from £750mn.
2023 £270mn land creditors cost - they paid £131mn of this in Q1.
Hi does anyone know what the current forecast is?
Hi looking at the RNS the first summer trading update was last year - does anyone know if this will now be a regular announcement. Great if it is.
That's weird - I saw 6 July date before I posted this morning and they normally have a July update before half year results. Now it's been removed.
Trading update on 26 April has cash at £353 million but they paid £131million of the 2023 £270million land creditors cost in Q1.
Updated guidance had 2023 completed homes forecast revised to the top end of the 8,000 to 9,000 guidance. Shares up 5% that day with next update on 6 July. Hopefully more good news then.
@SD235 are you sure they can cover the dividend going forward
Everyone else good luck.
@SD235 my last post. Have a look at what happened to HOME REIT.
Everyone else good luck.
