The fact that this is sharing the same sand body as JL gives us a very strong indication as to how successful our target could be if the trap and seal are intact. This is as big as we thought it would be and unitization talks may be part of the evaluation for future development.

Expecting the company to expand on this further with various analysts.

Whilst gas is always a possibility, JL shares the same sand body as hammerhead and is at relatively the same depth, updip.

I think that Gill needs to update the market to clear a few things up based on what we have all been speculating on over the last few days. Especially following the latest update about today’s farm in from the Guyana government within the last hour.

Wallact, I could be barking up the wrong tree, but logical explanations are welcome to try and explain not only the extension to drilling but the extension to the survey area. I am yet to read a better alternative! You can continue to drill without extending the survey area?

An appraisal well, maybe, but this would require a discovery?

An additional wildcat well into the Cretaceous sand body, again why not drill this during the next campaign?

For me all of the above bodes well for the companies prospects and if one thing is certain, we will soon find out via official RNS’s!

The maritime notice also made specific reference to ‘survey’, thus putting two and two together and perhaps making ten! Who knows!

The vessel is also equipped with DP - 2, the below link explains the benefits of node surveys, it’s my opinion of course but I am trying to consider a logical reason for this particular vessel, extension and increased area coverage. I have also been talking to my Marine mates who have many years experience in the O&G sector and together we have discussed the possibilities.

I still think the area coverage has been extended to carry out a node survey which is more advanced than a 3D survey which would enable them to map the pockets of oil surrounding the canyon that have previously been referred too. Exactly like the TEN field.

Imo, if it’s not for already finding oil, they have farmed in at the latest available opportunity prior drilling into the target so as to reduce the cost of the farm in, in the event of success.

It has always been penciled into Tullow’s exploration budget that further wells will be drilled next year dependent on this campaigns success. For total, QP and the funding in place for Eco, they will want to continue drilling. This is good news as regardless of Tullow’s success over the next three wildcat wells, the probability of sustained drilling into next year has just increased!

Could this mean they are flow testing or side tracking as a result of an initial discovery!

A pattern where the the little sells are dripping into the market and then someone accumulating round number of 15,000 odd swallows the supply generated by the market makers. Funny thing they still have to pay over offer!
