Gill has also said that development or appraisal wells will be around $3/4m net to Eco so a very low cost of development by industry standards.

I still can’t get over the significance of this and how cheap the stock still is.

After putting my life savings and some into this, this has been a massive pressure kettle for me. IJWT - I think your calcs have been pretty spot on and in line with some brokers who are reporting on Eco.

For me a discovery of any proportion at JL will sit well with me, as we know they consider this as opening up a new complex, the full potential of which is not in the CPR. When your consider the theory of ‘mirror exploration’, a theory that was proven but uncommercial in New Guinea, this is a case of once bitten twice shy, thus additional evaluation required imo.

As for looking at spikes in volume or a leading share price to gauge the outcome of this drill. It’s an interesting strategy and not one that can be said to be right or wrong. I only refer to RKH which was a falling share price right up until the intraday RNS that bought the volume and subsequent uplift in share price, but only once the RNS had been logged. Not all ships are leaky, especially those that mean so much for the operators! I have been kicking myself ever since and have learnt my lesson, as I followed the same strategy your now adopting way back then. GL though.

I don’t understand today’s share price action.

The morning started well with a number of buys at 68.80 and a few late reported buy trades.

We then have late reported trades from earlier in the week.

You have a seller arrive dumping stock at 68 but the buyer could still buy stock at 68.5 or just above.

Given the real bid v offer the share price all of a sudden shifts to 68 v 70??

It makes no sense unless we have more late reported trades, what is it currently to buy? I am all in so can’t check!

When hammerhead dropped last week it became impossible to buy for a short period which surprised me given all the stock that has been sold over the last few months as people/institutions have repositioned.

From Tuesday morning 04:00 they would have been drilling for 40 days.

Starting to get the feeling that we might get an intraday RNS. Adv*n app. shows Tlw as having an RNS but nothing to show. ECO has decent volume, both buy and sell side. Mmmmmm.....

I have been keeping my eye on that board. Tbh some their had never even heard of a Node survey, which isn’t a problem. With news imminent, let’s wait and see, I could well be wrong.

It’s my understanding when piecing the puzzle together, well before anyone knew of the Survey boat, that a Node survey was possible.

Let’s assume that the information available to all on the website is right and this vessel that has been converted at great expense is still an active survey boat. It’s day rate would be higher than for a standard vessel. It’s deck would be limited due to its conversion and additional equipment.

Why expand your area from 1 square km to 45 odd?

Imo this is because they are conducting a node survey in anticipation of a offset well due to the opening of a new complex. Why would you go to great expense or at least hassle extending the drill area otherwise? We have over 15 prospects, not 2!
