The fact that the market maker is showing the hand of the seller tells me that the sell order from the large holder (institution) is now finished, thus the solid finish to the week! Watch it walk up at 10x the speed. Market makers long imo!

GH said in an interview that Exxon has drilled to a similar depth in 20 days. I am expecting 35 to TD.

Today is the first time I have seen these multiple 100 trades since May when it spiked. Read into that what you want.

Would appear to be small by comparison. When you consider the numbers that are being discussed/speculated about hammerhead, it’s not hard to realise why it’s highly probable HH is being fast tracked to production.

Guyana

In Guyana, ExxonMobil’s spate of oil discoveries continue in the Stabroek block, with three major discoveries reported in 2019 – Tilapia, Yellowtail (oil) and Haimara (gas-condensate). These three fields could collectively hold almost 800 million boe of recoverable reserves. ExxonMobil’s success rate in the 15 wells drilled so far on the Stabroek block stands at an impressive 86%. First oil from the block is expected in mid-2020.

Hi extrader, within the five minute period that I was watching tsx, volume picked up and the price spiked. We all know now that the share price then plateaued but with HH results imminent, these sudden price increases should be observed as meaningful imo.

After completion of the Liza flow test, they released resource estimates almost straight away. Could hear something by the end of the week.

Couldn’t agree more Phoebus, if anything has been leaked the volume would be significantly higher.

Does anyone think it’s a coincidence that the share price is approaching the 200dma prior to results from Hammerhead, the market makers have played a blinder.

When it bounces it will be short and sharp.

The hot money might get lucky with their timing this time round with the share price as low as it is and hammerhead poised to drop as soon as this week. Not to mention JL.

When we do see a bounce on no news it will raise a few eyebrows as we speculate as to the source, JL or Hammer.

Is about to be fully appraised which will result in a resource being allocated towards the discovery. With industry eyes well and truly fixed on the numbers for which flow testing is due for completion this Wednesday, H1, H2 and now H3 will bring Guyana back into vogue.

Also of note is this article from April which provides guidance as to the shear extent of the hammerhead discovery and the fact that H-3 is the appraisal well of choice that they have decided to flow test tells us just about all we need to know at this point. Especially given its location further up dip and near enough on the boundary of our border.

And only 6 trading days until completion of the flow test at H-3 which when combined with H-1 and H-2 will enable Exxon to attribute a volume to this discovery.

I will be gobsmacked if this doesn’t spud tomorrow!

Your right W. I think that the tertiary discovery has a lot going for it.

It has been said that the discovery is a younger sand-body than the Cretaceous discovery at Liza which would of experienced more deterioration as it’s older, this could suggest it will flow better than Liza. Although the sands have been said to be good quality at Liza too in comparison to many equivalents Exxon have found elsewhere in the world.

Development capex will also be cheaper than the deeper discoveries because of the wells being shallower.

To run a billion barrel discovery and assuming 10% is sitting on our block. At $8 a barrel as per Hess/Exxon valuation metrics, our share of the block would be $120m as an in ground valuation. You can see why I bang on about hammerhead so much. Not to mention the implications a positive appraisal at hammerhead would have on our upcoming tertiary drills.

I think we are perhaps early for completion of the unitization agreement but we do know talks are ongoing as per comments from Keith Hill.

We also know that with H-3 spud and tested on the border of our block that the companies expectations for 7/10% of hammerhead sitting in our block has become ever more realistic.

When analysing the pattern of results from the Liza appraisal, rather than drilling and flow testing the first well they have drilled further appraisal well to evaluate the thickness of the sand body at H-2 and then flow tested a second well which will give them a better accuracy when attributing a resource estimate.

It’s this recourse estimate which will be disclosed and as such with the 7/10% unitization, we will be able to calculate a valuation for this asset and therefore a baseline for the stock.
