RE: Remdisiver and IFN-B28 Jul 2020 00:22
We know that the WHO trial is about finding a number of treatments in the fight against COVID, the more treatments we have the better the chance of survival. It’s not 1 v the other, it’s what combination or sole treatment gets you on the road to recovery.
What is becoming a common theme is that whether as a combination treatment or a treatment in isolation, IFN-B is gaining recognition and in turn credibility.
We know from that WHO website that the preliminary results are being peer-reviewed and therefore I am confident that an initial readout is imminent.
However, Nigeria and Columbia have just begun trails and expect these to run until year end so ongoing data should continue to support any guidance.
Fact remains this is still a high risk investment, we have many catalysts in the short to medium term:
- Traumakine production update
- WHO solidarity trial
- REMAP
- HIBISCUS funding and initiation
- Clevegen which could be huge in its own right
- Partner discussions
To consider a market cap of just over £200m, with as many rolls of the dice to come as FARN has, I take confidence in the fact that it’s not a one trick pony, and that COVID is a side track to its core business objectives.
Taking all this into consideration I have absolute confidence that we will see similar price action to when it hit £8/9 given that FARN now offers so much more than just T. But it’s very important to first consider the downside when positioning for what will be one hell of a rollacoaster.
With many articles released that supports the combination therapies including IFN-B and that we were not pulled from the WHO trials when others were, I can’t help but have a confirmation bias, that could be good or bad.
