Why could they not have said in the last RNS we expect to resume production guidance on completion of the Technical Review? It would have been something at least to balance the negatives.

I have said before that they need to reinstate production guidance but have they got the balls to do it. Even if it is for the remainder of the year it will say to the market "we are confident that HUR can produce X number of bopd" because at the moment we haven't at clue.

That really is the most stupid statement.
Quite obviously a well at 12k will never produce 18k or anything in excess of 12k whatever the water cut.

Pure speculation. Sounds more like you are hoping rather than expecting.

What I would like to see in the next RNS is not just what current production rates are but a resumption of production guidance.
Malcy suggested pi's should grow some. Now is the time for the BOD to do likewise.

The discount is not 45%. The link provided by JoeSoap indicates 34.34% but when you account for the spread it is probably more likely to be 31%-32%.
The unknown is whether the terms and condition on issue contained any provision preventing the Company from trading their own bonds on the open market. I am inclined to ask HUR is there is such a provision but have not done so yet. If there is no restriction then it would be eminently sensible to start buying as it will reduce the overall redemption cost and save on interest payments.
If it is an option open to the Company I doubt they would announce it as an intended plan as it will put the bondholders on notice and the price will go up. Also it is most unlikely that that could buy in quantity as it will push up the price. Nevertheless buying up in small tranches over a period of months will result in savings.

Buying the CB's in the market is something I have mentioned previously on a number of occasions. I believe that they are trading at between 25% to 33% discount and certainly not 50%

If your understanding is correct then you have to ask why HUR/Spirit made public their intention to tie back one of the Lincoln /Warwick wells before they were even drilled. Did they not understand the OGA's requirements for a permit or did the OGA change the rules.

This is the unanswered question.
Have they put up the for sale sign post or are they sticking to the original plan saying 'up yours' if you don't want to play ball we'll go it alone.
Along with RT's departure we had Kerogen replace Ron Kelly with Dr Alan Parsley "a geologist with over 50 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily at Shell where he held senior positions including Global Head of Exploration, Head of New Business Ventures and E&P Planning, Chief Executive of Syria Shell and Chairman of Shell Australia."
Question: Why was Ron Kelly replaced with Dr Alan Parsley.
We have no real information on Alan Parsley's background. He is a geologist but does he have any experience in fractured basement?
Is he an FB spectic or does he have an open mind. Is he the one that is now pushing the higher OWC scenario. It raises questions as to who is in charge, Kerogen or Ms Smith.
When the Interim results are published next month I would expect to see a statement either confirming Ms Smith as CEO or indicating an intention to recruit a replacement. Failing this I fear that Kerogen have taken control.
The one saving grace is that CA remain.
