But do you think they would be allowed to get away with it-presumably their competitors would not want them to do that-is this why it’s taking so long to thrash out a deal? Competitive bidding war? I wonder…. Some of these other media companies have huge valuations….a few hundred million to them appears to be chicken feed. And finally I have tried to value what each individual listener is worth going forward as the media landscape continues to change…would £1 per download really be pushing it that far? For precise targeted marketing. Remember how much it costs to manufacture and deliver a one hour tv slot with random marketing opp’s. Anyway back to sleep now.

You don’t need to worry about PE- I guess the predatory ELF are running the numbers-the multiple difference between the two companies is staggering - around 8 for W7L and 33 on ELF-use paper again and slave out the duplicate costs- just as W7L are growing so is elf through acquisition……

There’s chancing your arm and there’s chancing your arm-but such a low premium for a ftse 100 company-they’re having a laugh. I expect them to be back but starting at such a low offer not sure it will gain any traction.

Looks like 82 could be the magic number if it follows other ftse 100 multiples according to reports🤞

Wednesday’s were typically chosen for smaller companies to ensure they got analyst coverage due to busy Thursdays. Perhaps that is not so much of an issue now? However a report when the USA market is open does hold some credence should some type of deal or transaction is ready to go ahead.

Paul scott bought more at 53p yesterday he is very bullish- believes 70-75p is reasonable but feels they are worth £1 - £1.25 -I hope he’s right!

If I try for a moment and put myself in Mediclinic’s position. I wonder if they expected a much higher exit price as discussed but after such a low offer was on the table what would you do? Perhaps you buy the rest of the company at a slightly higher premium significantly reducing your average but way below perceived value with the aim of disposal at a higher premium when market conditions improve. Just my musings…hopefully news next week.

Presumably the £2.30 wouldn’t wash with major share holders. Not surprising really. I hope another party in the hospital space comes forward with a higher bid otherwise I will have to take the bath. GLA
