Circa 3mtpa production profile is expected in DFS and IMO no reason that the AISC can't stay proportionally within lower quartile globally - so in context the competitive advantage retained with Havieron. There has been a considerable gap between studies so yes - nothing is certain but it never is in any transaction as the price tag can differ from assumed valuations. Confidence in being 'well funded' i.e. going as close legally as you can at this juncture to saying fully funded and retaining a lower AISC in context to peers has been shared by the MD before and also confidence stated in being able to afford remaining 70%, based on what I assume is GGP's assumption of FMV and their own funding capability.

Obviously the overall financials change through owning both Hav/Telfer and all of that is part of the unknown until a deal is agreed and the numbers can be analysed inc. funding structure - hence the market holding back and is par for the course - nothing unexpected.

Averages and desired timeframes differ amongst us - so opinions about any deal may be mixed when it transpires and again par for the course. I repeat to some repetitive pests, there is a sensible range that will have been estimated by GGP's team to pay for both assets and how to structure this - if there aren't other bidders then NEM are also smart enough to play within this range and make the deal. The LROR on Havieron gives GGP an advantage BUT doesn't fully rule out other bidders, that would be foolish to assume IMO.

Details of DFS conclusions that will by now be in a very advanced stage including optimisation studies can be shared under NDA to aid funding and due diligence for potential buyers - and conditions placed for a DTM/DFS to be released by the new owner/s to then access agreed funds. A DFS doesn't necessarily have to be issued publicly available beforehand to sell Havieron and Telfer.

A conservative PFS was used to help fund the current package for 30% stake in development of Havieron to production with assumptions made to cover what NCM signposted was likely to come through in the DFS and Wyloo, HSBC, ING and ANZ had no issue with this and neither did the powerful additions to the BOD. Valuations created in accordance to the Valmin Code are often not released publicly and kept confidential, might be that there was one that was commissioned to aid negotiations for all we know.

Business is business and any bank is going to have limits to the risk they take hence perhaps an expanded bank syndicate as Shaun stated might be more viable in last TH and he and the other directors are hardly inexperienced or devoid of contacts esp. if accessing potential funds and equity via an ASX listing.

GGP has the skills and funding capability to pull this if IMO if a sensible price is agreed - and no reason NEM won't play ball as keen to focus on their Go Forward Tier 1 portfolio better suited to their business model.

Give it a rest daffodil, the key findings of a feasibility study that is probably well near finalisation can still be shared via NDA non publicly to aid funding and due diligence.

And of course a lower market cap is never anything to shout about Freddo but GGP not as vulnerable as it was in past now and in that instance we will see how Wyloo might fit in if a bidder comes to light.

Someone in TG has had correspondence from Shaun stating that he is keen to get to London for a TH before or after Denver if possible.

From the correspondence he had with someone in TG, he was advised August wasn't a great time due to school hols, so perhaps best IMO not to jump to assumptions about purpose of TH as of yet as we've had others set in Sept. :-))

Yep - not a great deal of effort required to update either a presentation or web site once set up to ensure quality and correctness of information - no excuse - but hardly an irregular occurrence with most AIM juniors :-)

While I'm optimistic on achieving closure by end of quarter, I'm keeping open-minded to things moving into early Q4 give the nature of the business.

Some of us have also been combatting P&D merchants for years and as I correctly pointed out - you also have a COMMERCIAL purpose with your posts in securing more clientele vs just 'being here for the genuine retail posters'.

Hi Swazers, plenty of us here with both a respect for and also utilise TA and find input from TA focused folk such as yourself useful... you seem to doing well in the space so congratulations.Plenty posting on BB"s whose entrepreneurial success possibly dwarfs yours though but best of luck with growing your business.

You should know by now how TA is scoffed at on LSE by majority, so never really worth posting or discussing on these boards as they invariably have a different audience and use case for most of the regular posters. Awareness of the most pertinent routes to market as such is key in business and let's be clear, you aren't posting solely for everyone's benefit but also to hopefully pick up more clients for your own services.

And let's also be clear, X (formerly twitter) is just as full of charlatans and pump and dump merchants as any BB, with some of them sharing TA and share tips to pull their little stunts. Again, some posting on BB's probably understand more about the online space as digital marketing experts than you might ever learn about charting. Levels to every game.

Those of us that do respect TA and your own analysis will be happy for your input - but expect some grief whenever you post from some. Ultimately, your goal is also to increase your own audience and paying clientele and there are better avenues and places to expend energy IMO :-)

I and some others do find your TA useful, just ignore some of the negativity if your intentions are also partially to be helpful but 'm sure myself and others follow you and other genuine TA specialists on X if we find your TA useful already anyhow.

Post discovery hole for me vs some rock chip samples no matter how good - payed off here while reducing risk hugely and will be my go to strategy for discoveries as too many shysters in the sector.

Plenty of work to do there yet and they'll need more money and time.

The $700m AUD (£360m approx) deal being agreed comes from a post on HotCopper forum, so as of yet very speculative.

According to you NInny Nincompoop, the ASX was shelved some time ago because of the feedback from Aussie Institutions being 'not at this time.' You've been asked to corroborate this and pretty clear it was unsubstantiated - so the only person flummoxed is you. More likely is that it makes more sense to do this with a deal agreed for both assets to then perhaps consider an IPO etc. if deemed optimal.

It takes time to build respect for holding qualified opinions by sharing knowledge/analysis on chat boards that the other posters find useful over time. On so many occasions we've just seen empty statements from you Nine - such as you're no longer concerned about the decline - again unsubstantiated as to what lead to this new opinion after constantly raising 'issues'.

You haven't earned much if any respect here, even with your vapid and very transparent previous attempts to curry favour by 'thanking' posters who have earned their spurs in the community. That insincerity showed who and what you are including enjoying and egging on tension amongst posters who add value to the board usually.

There is a limit to what any new company should acquire via debt no matter how accretive each acquisition might be. As Shaun himself points out often, financially responsible growth will be a focus and this is a very firm rule in business for many reasons.

A business can fail with undisciplined growth as often as a lack of revenue. We don't have the knowledge of the inner workings of the company to accurately assess what those limits might be say in the next 5 years but Twiggy on the other hand has a much more stuffed wallet - so exposure is viable through them somehow perhaps :-)

As you say Timber the end outcomes will probably surprise us all :-)

Perhaps opens avenue for South Paterson but not sure GGP could fund full acquisition of Winu on top of Telfer/Hav.

Perhaps Wyloo play a hand or more so a JV approach etc. as WA reports on Rio looking at all options - but only so much growth sensibly possible for GGP right now in terms of taking on debt safely.

They need to clear the big hurdle of closing in on and paying for Telfer/Hav first.

Hi Malvo - I'll have to check the latest NEM transcript but originally the sequencing being suggested was Oz assets first by NEM and includes some correspondence a couple of us had directly from their IR team earlier on and shared here - which was actually the reverse of what Shaun was saying at the last Town hall so has been puzzling.

There is so little information on Telfer/Hav process compared to other divestments (which is understandably scarce too) that as you say might be into Q1 2025 and can't discount the fact that funders may want to wait for Telfer repairs etc. which is making me start to shoft expectations into Q4 if we get later in Q3 with no detail.

I do feel general expectations has been for this year though amongst many investors here though, and this is what I was referring too. Mine have been around Q3 earliest - but since Telfer recommencement has been earmarked for early Q4 I have been wondering if a deal might be contingent on being after that so my expectations are shifting , albeit plenty of speculation of late and not just by EB that a deal has been agreed.

One other thing being noted by some is more activity at Telfer of late in general, EB, someone on TG and Stu H on twitter I think, so things seem to be picking up at least.

No doubt the poor chap must get very bored just tweaking the boilerplate template for AoA's day after day after day - poor old chap!

EB was a good un IMO as had a few chats with him over the last few years. His intel I can't speak for as not mine but he was very sure it was legit and I never considered him as a bad player in any sense, I believe he was just passing on what a trusted contact he has cultivated was telling him.

When we spoke on Friday he was still adamant the info. is good, just that the timing was off and also someone else with proven intel to date supports him. I never treat such info. as actionable or infallible as a source can be mislead or have misinterpreted details, even if I trust the person telling me which I happen to with EB.

When info is 2nd or 3rd hand, it's wiser to wait anyhow and can't understand the animosity from some - just ignore rumours if they antagonise you but bound to be plenty in any such scenario. As we've seen there are other rumblings of a deal on other forums but I guess to be expected too - time will tell as they say - and most expect we'll hear of a deal before year-end, or why else are we waiting here :-))
