You'd think the toll agreement has something built in to deal with such a scenario in the event of a sale of Telfer to a 3rd party, just as the LROR is in place for any divestment of NEM's stake in Hav as par for the course Mr. Aimless?
And irrespective of this, surely any new owner would be keen to run Hav ore through Telfer as without it, a less appealing business case to purchase surely, even with current and forecast POG. Still, perhaps Evo do think they could run Telfer more profitably as is and process ore from other areas if ROI is feasible - but then - I'm sure GGP too could replicate the same feat as owners.
Of course you could ask NEM IR why they've decided to package together for sale, as that is what they communicated to myself and others who have contacted them. Of course Evo and others can bid for both assets but at the end of the day an LROR in place for Hav for GGP, so anyone wanting NEM's 70% of Hav needs to consider this hurdle too.
Perhaps in your scenario, Evo also attempt to buy GGP's stake too you'll probably respond, well then they'll have to navigate this with what is a very capable and proven team in place in all aspects of the mining business, so the odds are better than your usual AIM junior to benefit.
