Personally, I'd like to see us back into double figures post ASX listing but not sure due to the way the deal was funded with all the pain upfront for us LTH, will wait to see how the market rates us a producer once we get the keys.
The non dilutive production pathway for Havieron is a great marketing tool for driving in new interest and we'll see exactly what DFS provides in confirming potential production expansion for the future but otherwise it's a known future potential now so will be reflected nearer production not in near-term, and also how much or little GDX and ASX provide as catalysts.
Hi Droverman, Martin - I think we can all agree that there is no way a junior was going to get Hav into production without either a JV partner or a major cornerstone investor or two - no risk free path as such and that was clear to me when I invested as we already had a JV. Otherwise I might have sat back and waited to see Hav proved up a bit more and see how GGP planned to fund further work and potential for a T/O premium if I invested. It was the fact NCM saw the potential in those early results that made me want to jump in.
I fully expected Wyloo to enable a path to sit right under a level they could if required try and buy the company. Why wouldn't you to protect you own investment as a defensive position from Wyloo's perspective. Sure, they might be orchestrating everything to actually takeover but we've been vulnerable enough for them to already do this. So I think this is probably more so defensive than hostile intent for now.
But, I have been thinking about this too as they can also move rapidly to just under 19% and we plan to list on ASX under a Top Co Parent company which will be Oz based. So one question I want to ask Shaun is IF they had any hostile intent, would this be a viable path to do so. You want to understand all the potential scenarios for an investment.
@CP - what reasons do you think precipitated Wyloo's strategy with Mincor? Had the team there perhaps made any mistakes and jeopardised the investment potential for Wyloo? And what steps have Wyloo actioned once they took over to correct anything and help ensure a future ROI on their ownership of Minor. Context is important, if Shaun and co eff up (unlikely) then they for sure will protect their backside including if GGP becomes a takeover target.
