The FMV was not conducted through an Independent party having free rein in defining the parameters and scope and creating an independent Valmin compliant report - rather choosing from 2 submitted values against pre-determined and conservative metrics inc. price decks. Fundamentally NOT a FMV outcome IMO.

Hi Panama, the nominee votes will need time to be collated, processed and passed over in whatever format so it is looking very much like today might be the cutoff officially for many platforms if not already passed unfortunately.
As you say, brick by brick builds a wall.. so come on all, get logged in and voting and be persistent and call if they say deadlines are kicking in and try your best to talk them into it, persistence pays!!!

Call them and politely but firmly kick off that it is outrageous to be told this when other platforms still allow votes as the EGM is on Friday morning and also if they didn't email or write to you and your account doesn't have a corporate action function that this is also unbelievable in this day and age, what on earth are they charging you for exactly, isn't it their job to enable your ability to vote as a shareholder in shares held under their platform....

5 people holding 20,000 = 100,000 votes, 10 people = 200,000 etc.
Go and look at the AGM resolutions and how few voted ... something like 726m in total from well over 4bn shares issued at the time.
Your vote matters mate as does every single persons here :-)

Hi TT, this goes back to if they needed that 5 percent for overall control as 75/25 was mooted as a control proportion for strategical and operational decisions by some online resources, which is why I am surprised if true they didn't pay up, if so it was a poor gamble perhaps on belief GGP would experience funding issues....

Today might be the last day to vote across many platforms, deadline is 17:59 I believe on II so if anyone needs help use the link below or ask here or TG etc.

It's been great to see the spirit of teamwork return around the voting that encouraged many of us to first start engaging on these platforms :-)

You can indeed go and appear to resubmit our votes on II Antigua, I think they get locked in on the deadline tomorrow.....

Important thing is that it says VOTED on both screens and we'll check tomorrow after 6pm to see if they are then locked in votes.

The email suggests that 'they' as in the II team is required to submit manually to GGP so I suspect they mean that they collate all votes and give totals of FOR, AGAINST, ABSTAINED to the GGP team to process before their deadline.

Hi Antigua, as GGP says it should say VOTED in the right hand column and also if you click again on the link, it should say VOTED in green under Meeting Agenda.
If it doesn't then just cast your votes again, log out and try logging back in after clearing you web cache perhaps.

@York - deffo wasn't meant as criticism mate, hopefully a call/web chat might convince them to let you, good luck chap :-)

@York - Try calling or web chat and complaining that other voting platforms are allowing until at least close of play tomorrow... always worth making a fuss to get around some red tape.

Let's try and focus on getting our votes in... if the system is so corrupt that you can't trust those mechanisms then a confirmation email probably isn't worth much?!
Control what you can control - which is making the effort to cast your votes :-)

The third way to vote is via a mechanism that some brokers have introduced where you can notify them how you wish to vote and they will submit a proxy form to the company (instructing the Chairman how to vote on their behalf).
You will of course realise that the broker might get conflicting instructions from their various clients, but this can now be handled because the broker can vote so many shares “for” a resolution and so many shares “against” (i.e. they can split their total votes depending on the number of “instructions” they receive, ignoring the votes where they receive no instructions).
But you will still need a separate “letter of representation” or a copy of the proxy form if you wish to attend a Meeting in person.

For anyone with shares via Interactive Investor, their deadline is October 4, 2022 1:59 p.m. EDT i.e 17:59 GMT tomorrow using their online platform.

For iWeb I received a postal vote (old school!) and had to return by October 3rd in a prepaid 1st class envelope I think from memory, but you can log in and use web chat to submit instead.

You need to get your votes in ASAP now on most platforms I presume - so please log in and do so if you want to be heard :-)

That boat has sailed IMO, think we might see a certain Billionaire muddy the waters if Newcrest attempt a bid.
Their smartest move now is to await Friday and I know some think they might be attempting tactics to affect votes but I just can't see a way for them.
Applying logic it just makes sense to vote for the funding framework built by Shaun despite a difficult market. Most of us aspire for a company builder in Havieron that funds further growth to build a portfolio of assets in time.
As I wrote on TG last night, our entire future hinges on those first two resolutions, this is the last step to ensure we can be part of the future at Havieron.
As Shaun says it is a difficult market out there to obtain funding so this is it, this is our chance and bringing these partners and people on should enable the capability to be more than just a junior partner at Havieron in the years ahead.
Saying that, I'm fairly certain of the outcome so can't say I'm at all nervous, very much excited for Friday :-)
It's been a hell of a journey with Havieron and I'm sure with everything else around pandemics, lockdowns and fiscal hell many of have also battled other pressures on many fronts, this is going to be a pivotal and transformative week, good luck to us all :-))

DFS due next month and unless Sandy Balls wants to explain he was just messing around spending almost $0.5bn and moving ahead with an production ready vs exploration decline, long term contracts and infrastructure for larks at breakneck speed when set against mining industry norms ... I have a feeling we will see a DTM that is affirmative with the long expected 50% increase in production profile we expect next month.

Some of the attacks on this board this weekend on members who provide research to help understand and appreciate the asset in Shaun talk are pretty sickening, especially having met many of these wonderful people in person now.

You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves, you truly should. Can you not seperate research of this nature from the SP which is also fundementally tied to market and sector sentiment and a host of other factors around funding etc. that are required to derisk and strengthen the investment case? Is it really that difficult? Or do you just need somebody to blame?

I was sat right in front of Shaun and saw the passion in his eyes as he spoke about the determined effort he and the team have put in since the option exercise was called and how he also worked so hard with the team to deliver this funding framework, board appointments and institutions on-board.

You know what, for those accusing some of being rampers and manipulators or unhappy at Shaun... all you have to do is come along to a Town Hall yourselves and hold the man to task as plenty of us did and meet those of us you think are up to no good.

What you would make of Shaun in person and his responses is up to you but pretty sure all you would find in those attending are a lot of very friendly, interesting and genuine people. The real manipulators will always stay hidden behind their keyboards.
