SP targets are a hard one... your age, earning potential, personal situ financially and goals such as a house purchase or mortgage clearing etc. all contribute and no one correct answer surely?
And thats's one aspect and then the other is what you feel the ceiling is for the company in your timeframe and your risk profile against that too as in slicing into a free run etc.
My gut instinct and cursory research was telling me to invest here instead of waiting to do more research in Jan 2020 as my discipline usually forces me to do so I listened as I have learnt to trust my instincts over time and went in early vs more considered buying strategy - win, even now thanks to a low average!
My gut instinct told me to not slice at the MRE as plenty more momentum along with TA and sentiment - win - at the time!
My gut instinct told me to sell out after Scallywag RNS as I knew sector was due a drop too ... I actually thought screw it, we'll drop back to 20's, late teens in worst case scenario but I remember telling myself I bet I end up regretting it and I think part of the reason now was friends and fam had followed me in, it skewed my judgement - fail!
I'm taking an organic approach here, review at Production as in review the SP, TA, sector and market sentiment and decide then what I choose to do.
Why?
Because only Havieron is a known quantity with a plan i.e production, peak scales from Decline and then ramp up with bulk etc.
Resource size will matter as it gives you longevity of mine life but less so for SP impetus I feel as production, profitability etc. will be key factors too, we will be a grown up mining company albeit as a JV asset owner.
Less defined are new discoveries or inorganic growth and we'll have a clearer picture in production but perhaps more so still speculative vs defined.
Don't let the mistakes of the past determine your future as they say.
Learn from them and adapt your strategy as needed vs letting Fear control you.
