You are right though, as they have pulled out, they should be stripped off the Crown Estate consent, it should then by built by GB Energy from the NWF and stop faffing about with stupid CFD strike prices that get loaded on to end-customer bills. Will never happen though.

With the prospect of a US-UK trade deal, interest rate reduction coming today. it is entirely possible that there's a bit of an uptick off the back of this. But it would be consistent of late to see it dribble back down, the reliance of FID still means it isn't money in the bank, yet.

Having said that, like other posters, it is really positive news in the right direction.

You may well be right there @Cureboy, although 1/4 of the annual breakeven amount with potential for a further 200MW is encouraging. As always the devil is in the FID not being due until next year.

C'mon @Troublesome, Spicy didn't post anything different to me. The TBD's are contributing to the market sentiment, if they flip to confirmed, then that will be a different story.

Ongoing proof of cash generative status - that is contracts or confident pipeline that matches the breakeven volume of approx 400MW/year - we so far have 45MW Neptunes and stated pipeline of £135M I think if I remember correctly. Not definitively ongoing positive yet - but moving in right direction, I agree.

After that, sentiment and more visibility of concrete Governmental support in more jurisdictions

Clued, no idea which big investors you are thinking of or why they would be hesitating at the moment. Over half of the shares are already in the hands of declared investors which can be researched on ITM website.

For smaller investors there are headwinds, Trump, inflation, Ukraine, Government delays in some areas, there are also drivers in the form of Germany momentum, Spain, Scandinavia, Hyspeed, HyGen, Japan, Oman, UK if it can get on with it with HAR allocations, Kintore, Grangemouth, Bavaria investment etc. Cashburn, profitability, contracts. Which of these is dominating sentiment, I'm sure your guess is as good as mine.

Like many although by no means all, here, I am of the view the upsides outweigh the downsides and this is oversold and undervalued. When the "herd" will shift, no idea.

Completely agree. If you aren't already follow Guto Owen on LinkedIn, he often posts throwback history pieces about town gas which was high concentrations of Hydrogen before the roll-out of natural gas.
