Anyone who invested above £1 has already seen some impressive lows - if they didn't sell then why sell now?

Anyone who got it at those lows is still in profit - if they didn't sell at 90p why would they get out now?

Breakofdawn, I get your point but on the other-hand, if the results show increased revenue from the delivery of existing orders and any new lower value non-RNS worthy contracts - then that will have a significant impact.

Surely, SNAM would have told them they were divesting and so there couldn't have been a "we know of no reason" announcement?

I don't see them leaving anytime soon - the muted open this morning just shows that there is a wider level of low confidence - which if you ask me is disappointing that investors seem not to have the courage of their convictions and not understanding the progress the company has made under the leadership.

I still think the results are going to show progress to a much sounder footing and that there will be evidence of revenue from engagements but we shall see.

In the meantime the track listing isn't clear will it be:

Breakofdawn, I don't think investors would or have sold. As you say, if one didn't sell in the 90s why would one sell now? Traders, shorters are behind all the volatility of the last few weeks, up and down, I think investors have been sat on their hands (I don't include SNAM in that because their "investment" was initially about developing electrolysers they then bought, which they never did. Why is known only to them and I've already stated my speculation)

I think investors absolutely have seen all the progress over the last few months (years), and confident about prospects running up to the financial announcements.

Not selling. This has the potential to be one of my pension options and slightly longer term benefit from IHT AIM relief for my beneficiaries.

Well before I filtered, couldn't determine the difference between revenue and being cash flow positive and having to post a loss due to accounting rules on revenue recognition. So I assume they still can't.

I'm not surprised, I nearly posted yesterday that I wouldn't be surprised if they had. They are just trading it the same as we are when going long - we think these are still great prices to get in at - so do they. This goes up fast or down fast on Thursday 14th - one group is right. @Cureboy - grow it? Apart from that, I assume some of it is now earmarked for seed funding for Hydropulse, how much and what is the expected RoI on that with contracts signed and pipeline and delivery?

How much is earmarked for R&D (Chronos) and how much more for factory space?

How much is needed to fund inventory before revenue can be recognised on the major contracts?

But most importantly, growing it.

If it can be adapted with hand controls, which it should be ok for. And once the refuelling network develops a bit more.

There's also hydrogen fuel cell for data centres (even though I'm opposed to data centres but that's a different issue and like trying to hold back the tide) hydrogen for ammonia, hydrogen for heavy transport (think mining earth movers etc - massive rigs) hydrogen for HGV and my personal preference hydrogen for personal transport (I can dream)

It *might* crawl into the low 70s but that would likely be about it - seems as though some fiscal discipline has been imposed and nothing leaking out before 14th - depends whether they are keeping powder dry until then or whether there's going to be sudden flurry of RNS in the lead-up and some FOMO kicks in on Friday.

To level the playing field more effectively VAT should be scrapped for all fuels rather than raise it for FF. The Renewables Obligation scheme and Feed-in-tariff schemes should be scrapped as this would remove the obviated taxation on energy use to provide the subsidy, reducing electricity cost as making the cost to produce Hydrogen cheaper.

Contract for Difference scheme should be re-worked to compel generators to pay the subsidy bac when they voluntarily curtail at their Total Export Capacity - to stop them self-curtailing when wholesale prices are negative (sunny, windy days).

The Balancing Mechanism should be re-designed to prevent excessive payments when curtailing generators of any type because of system constraints, the compensation should only be equal to loss of contracted revenue for output.

There are loads of in-built perverse incentives that break the GB energy system, just a few above.

Well anyone who bought the dip is sitting on 15-20% - not a bad turnaround for any trader just looking at indicators and not the underlying business. With a critical event (up or down) coming (interims) risk management says take the money and run - leaving us long term holders chewing over the volatility and hopeful next Thursday 9am is a very good day.

Sigh - SNAM originally invested for ITM as preferred supplier then also signed agreement with Linde to promote key technologies along the hydrogen value chain and develop opportunities for joint investments in commercial projects in the areas of production, distribution, compression and storage.

They exited on the news of Hydropulse because it is in effect a competitor and so a conflict of interest and these earlier projects have not progressed. Not for any other reason.

So they exited on good news for ITM or in other words, the drop was on no negative news.

Fascinating numbers being predicted, why for example would it not go above 70p this week, without a positive RNS - it dropped loads on volatility with no negative RNS, why can't it rise on no news? Having said that why would it get to 85p by the weekend and then drop over the next 3 days before the interims?
