@Momentum5, you pretty much wrote what I was going to - I wouldn't call it manipulation, more management, they buy as many as they can, when the price gets above 140 they drop a few to get it back down then start again. It can't last forever as eventually there will be no more at that level and we step up - hence why I said this will staircase up for a bit now. Or jump in the elevator if a contract appears (a broker upgrade or one of the shorters getting hasty as Bilbo mentions and it'll pick up pace)

Yes, I've been watching it for the amusement value - but I actually have some work to do now so they'll have to fight among themselves. I have no doubt where the sp is heading over the medium term and not interested in trying to trade the volatility. I can outlast the shorts, been here 4 years already.

Over 10million shares traded today, there was a lot of buying early on and then some games to try to keep the price at or below 140p - they might have got another 4 million so about another 0.5% maybe?

Yeah it is a whopper of an engulfing candle backed up with increased volume - there's obviously the resistance at 95p-100p, after that it looks to me to be around 115-120p then 135p if 135p falls there is an old gap to close up to 180p

Been running my own consulting business for the last 7 years - my partner thinks I've already retired...

Patience grasshopper. If you got in at 93p your are near 36% up already. This has a long way to go, maybe today, maybe tomorrow but the long-term direction is up (by a lot) - do not be concerned by short-term volatility.

Definitely. Helikon actually reducing is a huge signal, means they have given up on the terminal play they had been following for 2 years. No love lost between City traders, they will have seen that and now know Helikon are trying to get out. If they didn't pick up a lot cheaply today, the rest are going to be hard to come by.
