Disagree - Trump's excursions have reinforced the case for home-grown Hydrogen to replace FF. Wind/Solar has been shown not to be able to cope with the intermittency/storage/dispatch/constraint issues - money earmarked for Transmission infrastructure would be better directed to supporting Electrolysis.
Supply chain inadequacies highlighted by the events show that manufacturing needs to be re-shored for security/defence - raw iron/steel needs a reducing gas (hydrogen if not FF), ships need home-produced steel, so do shells, drones, ammo, guns and we need all of that. Our navy can't even defend the channel let alone other dependencies. Any incoming Party can see that too.
