Horse,yea I fully understand the anxiety and we were probably to blame for assuming the green light would be given on the bnp taking up power……that would have been the ideal scenario and it’s easy to look at it from the Uk and think what are they messing about at!

So since the election the country has been in holiday mode Eid hols new yr etc and this week is probably one of the first full weeks the govt has got it’s claws into stuff….add in the energy crisis most of the ministers seem to have gone into emergency mode…..

Once again we have assumed the energy crisis would push the government into action but that’s not how Bangladesh works,it’s a very bureaucratic country and everything requires a round table,so here we are on the cusp I feel of Phulbari being reviewed seriously,and if the lobbying is to be believed power china wants to work it in conjunction with Teesta……that is one hell of a project and I now think the government needs help to get this over the line………

I feel it’s very close but I couldn’t give you a timeline as there’s so many factors to account for……urgency,politics,money……..the one thing we did have from Gcm last year is it’s not a case of if it now when…..

The only energy resources I know that don’t need exploration ie drilling but utilising are the known coal fields……

State Minister for Planning Zonayed Abdur Rahim Saki on Wednesday said the government is placing the highest priority to rapidly exploring and utilizing the country's own energy resources to address the fuel crisis triggered by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

"For a long time, the failure to fully exploit Bangladesh's promising gas fields was due to a lack of rigs and weak capacity. Despite various international surveys pointing to significant gas potential in Bangladesh, that went untapped for 17 long years," he told journalists after the first meeting of the Advisory Committee formed to counsel the General Economics Division of the Planning Commission at Agargaon.

Thanks gp…….sadly it’s what aim does,big pi holdings here…so many tools at their disposal to sweat out the unwary…….I’m curious as to why now,it’s well organised,it’s persistent…..it might not seem it today but it should strengthen the stock going forward

Remember that when BNP was in power in 20016, they took the initiative to extract coal, especially in Fulbari, but the Awami League opposed it at that time. A sad fact about Fulbari after the assassination, after the movement, open mining could not be done, but BNP wanted to extract coal. Now, one of the BNP young leader Mr. Tarique Rahman, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, do you think he has the opportunity to take this bold decision at this moment because they came to power in Bangladesh with a landslide victory?

This is a difficult matter. He is young, but is he that old?

Risk take it because we have seen that this is political football, all his opponents, wherever,whatever the opponent, yes, they forget what they themselves wanted to do

Now the question is whether he can do this successfully or that is what is happening or if he understands the reality and the reality is explained to him how serious a condition we are in. Yes. I mean, we were in an energy crisis and what has happened now our energy crisis has fallen into a crisis. Yes. A crisis within a crisis. Yes. and I see that no matter how I look at it.

This site is very likely to have been developed by Dyani Corp?…a senior investment partner in this project…….the new government has only been in place for a little over two months and there is tons to do regarding reclaiming democracy and sovereignty ,Tarique Rahman has said the new energy infrastructure plan including coal will be formed over the first 6 months of their tenure…..it could be delayed I suppose because of the energy crisis or the Flipside is it could be expedited and the Bangla/China state visit starting Thursday could get dome deals inked……

the trading was interesting today……that 500k hit it running this morning then it was nearly solid buying all day,this has been a text book attack on the stock and it really is the only way to loosen up some stock……there will be weak holders that swallow the ykir gospel but it’s a very costly exercise in aim investment if you don’t check and double check before you follow a **** handing out life jackets 😂

One by one the dogs will stop barking when they’ve bought back in……all that garbage spouted then gets washed away till nextime……this could be the last hurrah before we move on…….yea yea I know it will eventually leave the comfort zone as sure as anything…..that’s why most of us are here 👍

The calibre of bashing on aim is hilarious…….who would really take notice of somebody that doesn’t realise phulbari is ready to go!!……the govt may require extra environmental assessments etc but our bank is fully funded to meet anything the government needs in addition to what we have…….

One of the the most sensible posts today showme…….US trade deal is irrelevant to this project I had this confirmed by Bangla press energy expert late February…….

Bangladesh needs a big hand to procure these inland energy projects and it won’t be the Americans……Chevron has always been busy in the gas fields in Bangla and that work will continue unabated and could be ramped up in conjunction with any new policies that will be put together in this first 180 days……..

There will be renewables, there will be new gas but the prize is the coal fields

If we just look where we are,all indications are that the bnp is serious about the dire situation and how to rectify it……..there has been a few mentions from the new energy minister Tuku that Barapukuria is being surveyed for its suitability for open pit mining….I don’t know how many more breadcrumbs people need to realise it’s a hot topic,it’s needed and the country is heading down the pan without own resource use…

So is it possible the negotiations have been ongoing since the new government took its position?…..is it possible the negotiations are tough as there is not much experience in government for own coal development in the open pit manner?…..is it possible energy minister Tuku has been diverted to crisis management with the current situation in the gulf,but just to keep the seat warm at the coal policy table a few days ago he mentioned Bara/Kalashnikov development?…….if I was negotiating one of the biggest energy projects in Bangladesh history that’s one heck of responsibility,Tuku has spoken of what’s needed for the last 20yrs but now he’s in the driving seat,that’s different to shouting from the gallery in the previous administration…….

So has other open pit development Bara/Kalashpir been mentioned to get a better deal with PC&Gcm??……the possibilities are mind blowing…….add in Teesta and it’s like that quote from Jaws “I think we’re gonna need a bigger boat Tuku”…..😉

Anything related to the Coal Ministry is India……..👍……..India has the experience to advance its coal development without bending to outside influences…..whereas Bangla still has a lot of Indian interests still in their energy depts against developing the bangla domestic coal…….Tarique has to overcome this,Khosru stood in Parliament yesterday and said the extra subsidy going forward on fuel costs could amount to $3bln a year……I think that’s conservative
