Hi redeye I think you’re spot on……the company must be well aware of the situation with pi,s holding the bulk of Gcm stock……..if institutions take this up then we are changing into a higher gear for the next move up…….it should clear pretty quickly imho

I did say weeks ago this will be diluted to get to the prize……..we got diluted 18% at 6p only a few weeks ago then put on 100% that’s how it’s gonna work to get to triple figures……..Friday should clear this placing after the election result then it’s clear blue again…….

Good calcs pappi……if any of those other mines become deep mines (possibly but very unlikely) then the output will be trashed and the total economic exercise for domestic resources is scrap……only open pit can provide the gdp the country needs

Indo coal is open mined that’s why it is so viable commercially…or was,that’s another bone of contention for the new government Indonesia could restrict exports of their products

I know we are going over and over this stuff but there’s still a lot of new investors pi,s that probably find this information reassuring

Despite the country's huge coal reserves only one token coal mine was ever sanctioned in Bangladesh. The underground coal mine at Barapukuria along with its’ associated power stations are state owned and have a management and production contract with the Chinese consortium CMC-XMC. Both the mine and the power stations are on their knees. The power stations are often out of action due to malfunctions, lack of spare parts or the skills required to repair them. One unit has never been operational. Many experts, prior to implementation, advised against underground mining as they considered the coal seams were not deep enough to prevent land subsidence and collapse.

Good post pappi and echoes my thoughts regarding Tarique and his advisers saying domestic coal is going to be put to work to get them on a sure footing……

That doesn’t mean in the next government that means the here and now so unless we have missed another prospective mine doing top secret evaluation then it certainly means the phulbari field…….

If the bnp doesn’t make good it’s promise’s in this tenure then it may not get another go in 5yrs?
