Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam today said the main focus of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus’s tour to London is to recover the stolen assets.

“During the Sheikh Hasina's reign, US$ 234 billion was siphoned off from Bangladesh to various countries. A part of it was laundered to the UK,” he told a press briefing here.

So, Alam said, the major focus of the Prof Yunus’s UK visit is on asset recovery.

I think there’s been a big cash/legal wrangle going on in the background……Twerp Tulip wanted to meet Yunus and was rejected his excuse was it’s a legal matter….I personally think Tulip wanted a meet to get Yunus to call off the dogs…..all set up by Starmer as he is loyal to his most treacherous appointees!!…..in retaliation Starmer has rejected Yunus advances and left him with egg on his face going into the appointment of his life with the potential prime minister of Bangladesh…..they are all bent and we are trying to get something good from it……🙄
