Talk about chasing your tail🙄……I can assure Fouzel installing bloody solar panels on govt buildings paid for with loans from the ADB is not going to get the country out of the dire situation it is facing……..all it is doing is using the cash from the loans because that’s what the loans were authorised for……the gas is drying up,there is NO private investment coming into the country and all these cuckoo ministers are doing is going round in circles as long as they don’t step outside that green circle smiler is happy……..wasted time,energy and money
Focusing on the power sector, he noted the growing reliance on imported LNG due to declining domestic gas reserves, which requires significant government subsidies.
To address this, he said, an initiative has been launched to install solar panels on all government buildings, with the electricity generated intended for the national grid.
He also pointed out the potential for the private sector to contribute at least 2,000MW of electricity by installing solar panels on rooftops.
