Good info gp……this imho is the consequence of import coal inefficiencies…..sub standard fuel,and it really does only just get over the line from Indonesia…..that causes maintenance issues…..logistical issues,docking in poor weather,port backlog transportation from port……everyone knows these problems could be alleviated with domestic resources……not long now before the development of open pit in Bangladesh will be put into a constitutional energy policy

If I remember right,Matabari 2 was cancelled in 2022 and rejuvenated this year just before that article…..Matabari port project ,Japan has the contract and its a huge development and that’s going to require some lecky….which in return is going to require some quality coal 😉

Another expert missing the trick!……cost effective lng is a contradiction and gas exploration is a flop at the moment….the big decisions have to be made soon for the sake of the country…..oil for electricity generation like todays India import articles are really desperate last resort measures……🙄

I personally think bara is dead come December on the back of the domestic coal policy…..I think Fouzel said they were looking at the least disruptive methods to mine 🙄…..a bit of a silly comment because the speediest,most efficient cost effective method is open pit……phulbari then when they see the cost savings to the exchequer it’s bara after their environmental assessment….then why not the rest 👍

30p is about £100mln market cap after a mention of domestic coal extraction in a policy to be forwarded to the new govt……we have done a five bag since March and 30p is only the same to get there from today’s valuation……so more than doable

Anyone invested properly has expectations here…..my expectations for between December and February elections is 30-50p……that hinges on no interference with the election schedule and domestic coal extraction being specified in the energy new Fouzel policy…👍

Just thinking the best way to describe this activity this last few weeks…?…the market is desperate for stock and it goes on these fishing trips but it’s like they are sh@t scared to go too deep?….I suspect there is not much loyalty between market makers and when one makes for the door the others crap themselves fearing that could be the start of the next 40% session…..it’s fascinating to watch in a bullish stock……
