They ended up with over FOUR BILLION shares in issue. If you had listened to the half-a-brain-cell merchants, Ggp should have gone backwards.

Some investors were calling for GGP to GO IT ALONE rather than sell out too cheaply.. what a daft idea...would have still been languishing around 1p - 2p and still trying to raise millions, FFS.

IT takes only ONE DEAL, not one more new asset.
Until assets are sold or worked, they remain a liability in the portfolio. Only the majors can afford to mothball recently acquired assets.

Why fundraise assets only to mothball them for years?

It takes only one interested major to do an HAVIERON type deal....and we're off !!

Bishop.. o think we all know placings are inevitable on a six to 12 month basis. But the hope is the sp will make significant gains by the time the next cash raise is due ie 2p to 4p+ would mire than absorb further dilution The trick is to be in NOW at these silly prices .
We need to concentrate on OZ and hopefully draw intetest from the majors to do a similar JV as GGP did with Newcrest...help from the big boys offering finance with first refusal clauses to buy out specific assets is THE quickest way to get the sp up over 15p - 25p.....IT WORKS!
Going it alone is OK if you have just began investing and are prepared to wait donkey's years....in my opinion of course.

He could end up in jail for fraud and tax offenses. If he has been banking in offshore accounts with investors money....that is mis-appropriating company assets and is tax liable as unaudited if not declared as part of company revenues. He may be saying, however, that LION cash is/was used to support and finance tally Either way he is still liable to account how the money has been used.

In 1761 an Englishman called Jonathan Swift was a Freemason (not the auther of Gulliver's Travels written 40 yrs earlier..)and found a silver deposit in KENTUCKY. After becoming immensely rich his mine was sealed and he then had secret meetings with fellow Freemasons George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
The War of Independance was about to begin in 1776 President Washington thought they would lose the war and all their gold reserves lost to the English.
The story goes that they moved all the bullion to a safe haven in Swift's Silver Mine in Kentucky. Swift owned land around where Fort Knox is now?

If they lost the war the intention was for SEVEN SOUTHERN STATES to secede from the Northern Union and so hold on to the gold.
But the Americans won the war and their gold reserves were hidden deep in natural caves in the silver mine
The story goes on to say that the Americans expected a backlash from England and set about the process of a seperate union in the south.
A wooden fort was built over the silver mines snd manned by militia The second war never came and the mine became the real storage of US gold reserves. It was established in 1918 as Camp Knox (named for Major General Henry Knox, first U.S. secretary of war), and it became a permanent military post in 1932 as FORT KNOX.

Swift was at Washington's funeral in Dec 1799 as director of the service!
His silver mine has never been proven to exist *They don't want it proven*
Yet something compelled the US to keep its gold reserves far far away from the Capitol.
The silver mine is reputed to be the real reserves and worth more tha all of the gold stored in hidden vaults deep in the underground mines. The amount of physical gold in the upper vaults are said to be 'dummies'.
