OT ...an unlikely story.
Two brothers that owned a chicken farm, found a way to cross breed turkeys with chickens and put the idea to their loan provider to produce them on their farm to breed these iconic birds for Xmas and all year. These birds had really masses of extra meat with gigantic thick long legs and thighs. The loan manager agreed to a £100,000 loan with payments deferred for the first six months.
10 months went by but no word from the brothers and no payments were made with a block put on their banking facililty.
Worried they payed them a visit to the farn unannounced and to their surprise these giant cross breeds were running wild in the hundreds across the farm. They looked like small ostriches with great big strides. Impressed they approached the brothers and said " Looks like your experiment works, but you haven't paid off any of the loan"
The elder brother said "We are so sorry, we ran out of money by the time the payments were due and we couldn't pay any bills"
"How come with all these magnificent birds proliferating your farm...look at 'em running all over the place and what long legs, they must be worth a lot to the supermarket chains?"
"Yeah, we know and we have had to cancel loads of contracts, we have had hundreds of orders cancelled"
"Why, did you run out of bird food or what?"
"Nah, the bloody birds are too f...ing quick.. we can't catch the f...ng c...s"
