I note that no matter how good a share is, they alk fall victims to placings .....AND don't we all het caught out. I thought i was doing well buying more at 14.8p.
Now i am sorry i did'nt wait longer. I oncr bought a share at placing price ie EQT and it halved AGAIN. You really get caught out....shan't buy anymore until i know for sure if we don't go back under 12p, which would be my luck...sacrilegious

Think about that lads...i actually 5 bagged from an initial investment at under 0.6p average after holding for 4yrs in GGP ...So decided LION was thr best near term gain. I put all of it in here and lost literaly all of it within 2 weeks when CP suspended Lion. Plus 3yrs in here is 7 years down the Swannee...ffs

I've already contscted the FCA 3times..they are NOT interested...they told mr in our situation we should contact the administrators direct. If there is some mal-practicr afoot which is in breach of the stockmarket rules then the administrators may decide on what action need be taken ie they could inform the FCA where they would then be able to invrstigate further Again if some kind of financial fraud or tax EVASION has been purpetrated under a little known law called.. "Taking a Pecuniary Advantage for Gain" then ctiminal charges may be advised by the FCA.
They explained to me why this law is important as is normally only committed by a person or director in a position of trust. In our case it will not apply to the creditors unless they are in a position of controlling the financial operationd of thr company. I took it that can only apply to David Sefton...but he is a cunning barsteward. The FCA did say the administrators are quite capable of uncovering any kind of mal-practice, if any, by the creditirs or the directors, current or former.

The bloke next door to me said it is illegal for independenr creditors to instigate a forced delisting of a Public Launched Company by refusing to agree on the decisions of administrators. His missus chucked in her pennorth and said that when their is a stalemate and getting closer to the delisting date the administrator can step in and act to order them to accept the offer available to break the impasse. His kids said ...And if they don't accept the final decision, their claim goes to the high court and they may lose and becomes defunct, null and void and they could get nothing. Mummy is always right but daddy gets things arsewiays up. Grandad said...and they may end up paying costs.

We are well below GGP at a similar stage before Nrwcrest got involved...trading around 1.7p to 2p
And that was before we knew of the potential st Havieron.. Before then we had Newmont walk after 7months. Even then after the initial shock the sp held above 1.5p....

OT ...an unlikely story.
Two brothers that owned a chicken farm, found a way to cross breed turkeys with chickens and put the idea to their loan provider to produce them on their farm to breed these iconic birds for Xmas and all year. These birds had really masses of extra meat with gigantic thick long legs and thighs. The loan manager agreed to a £100,000 loan with payments deferred for the first six months.
10 months went by but no word from the brothers and no payments were made with a block put on their banking facililty.
Worried they payed them a visit to the farn unannounced and to their surprise these giant cross breeds were running wild in the hundreds across the farm. They looked like small ostriches with great big strides. Impressed they approached the brothers and said " Looks like your experiment works, but you haven't paid off any of the loan"

Speculation:
Is it concievable that one reason for the creditors holding out for more, could be that they know Icon have some good deals in the bag once they have the finance in place?
I figured that Icon will eventually agree to the 'terms' and as such the creditors are prepared to hold out for as long as it takes. Put another way....would they hold out for more if Icon simply had nothing going for them ?It would be simpler not to take the finance and just go bust! leaving the creditors with nothing. (IT'S CALLED BANKRUPCY).
So, IMO they must have built up their asset base pending the finance and are reluctant to let the opportunity slip.. .AND the creditors know it. Holding us to ransom ?

We should still keep complaining to the stock market admin. They might at least tell us if all these adjournments are necessary / legal or unconstitutional.

They have to correct it no matter how small the mistake. I remember when GGP issued a great Rns but no one noticed that the number of shares in issue was about 1,000 shares wrong from an issue of 3.4 billion. The correct figure was sent out only an hour later in a fresh Rns. Everyone thought what a waste of an Rns?

King of telva....the FCA have confirmed that NO ONE has contacted them about investigating ICON. They said we should make further inquiries and that it looks dodgy.

The FCA also confirmed that anyone remotely connected to the company posting informstion using a pseudonym ID account is against the law. They suggested we make further inquiries. They also said the term 'Case Manager' is incorrect.

OK everyone. I contacted the FCA direct and they hsve confirmed there is NO inquiry into ICON or ANY inquity about to be launched by them any any way.
