Nah you lot aren't getting rid of me that easily! :) Like I said I like what I see with this company and nothing that was said today changed my mind - longer term. I came away enthused which may sound bizarre when I actually sold. I could have held but although I am a serious investor I also have a traders instinct and I just feel a retrace is likely and there could be some uncertainty if word gets around about the possibility of a change of direction which would require a cash raise. We will see, if not, egg on my face and I will have to pay more to get in again.
One thing I would add is that I think IF (note IF) there was a placing the city would be biting this lots hands off for shares. Sure it would be massively oversubscribed. I want to make sure SC's words aren't misconstrued though he clearly said it was all up for discussion. And if it happened it wouldn't be the dreaded 'working capital', this would be for genuine aggressive expansion. Be very interesting to see what they decide upon but whatever they do decide I will support them because I have trust in them. They currently have, I think, 24 employees so still very young company. I bet its fun working for them, be like a little community/family everyone knowing everyone else.
Graham Ward is another interesting chap. He's a non-exec director with a lot of previous relevant business experience. He explained to me that they, as a company, were in their early stages of developing an organisation. I got the feeling he was trying to say 'look, don't expect too much too soon, we may have growing pains!' He said they have to build up all the usual functional areas like any enterprise such as finance, HR, marketing, sales etc and the point was he was essentially saying this is all work in progress. He sounded like a guiding hand to them to me.
I can see parallels in this company for another company that I worked for that grew from being run above a shop into a £100m+ consultancy that was eventually sold to a multi national. Slightly different is that this was essentially born via a RTO of Zenergy by Synergy which was a private company but you get my drift..... Very interesting company this.
Finally, as for seats it was indicated to me by MS that it was in 'four figures' currently. I suspect growing quickly though. Hope that answers your question. ATB
