Wey - Fortunately we're yet to reach the max buy price i'm willing to pay. I'll just get 10% less shares
I have to say i was not expecting to see 150 broken today.I'm really torn, as while it makes my portfolio look healthy, I'd have liked to be able to add some more in the low 140s at the end of the month
The way i see it, if he'd thought it would have gone down again he would have sold.so why didn't he?Because he didn't think it'd go down so much. And therein is the dilemma. Will it drop as much as you think? Or will you end up buying back in at a higher price?
Hi Nige_W,I'm aware how the yield works, thats why i'd quite like a couple more months around these levels.Fortunately it looks like the Brexit votes / negotiations may help
Indeed.A couple more months at this level to get good divis would be perfect
Think i'd be happy if it was to stay this price until april so i can get a few more pension contributions in
Little more patience i'm afraid tigger. The December update usually arrives on the friday of the first full week of Jan
Nonsense. If someone knew something we'd be seeing buys a damn sight bigger than 30 grand
I'm with HL too. They charge 0.45% annually to hold shares, but thats capped at £45. So if you have more than 10 grands worth of shares it effectively becomes cheaper.Any funds you hold with them are under a different charging structure, but if you only hold shares it works out quite well
Unstoppable rise of veganism? An average increase of 40,000 people a year?
nice going.I bought in earlier at 5.5 :(
Its likely to be Friday. Its usually the last day of the week its due

You can't pass the ISA wrapper on unless you die.Your spouse will recieve it still in the wrapper (they get a boost to their ISA allowance for the year to the value of your ISA)
It can't be passed on to someone else, EXCEPT if you die to your spouse
That'll do to start the day
