The application for that many shares was made in July. The number hasn't changed. So no conversions in the last 12 months

That article is missing the point.

The SP has dropped due to brexit and other contruction issues. A dropping SP automatically makes the divi yield bigger.

They'd just as likely be complaining the divi was too small if the SP had doubled

Weyland - They tend to use specials when there is more money than expected, rather than raise the interim or final and potentially have to drop it the following year.

All depends what you're here for and at what price you're averaging.

Some people are here for the divi's, some for a price recovery, some for both

From my point of view its only controversial if your timescale is less than a couple of years.

Personally I'm treating this as a no brainer at this price

gta5 - I agree in the current price range ZIOC is decent value, and if i wasn't already holding i'd definitely consider buying.

However with the holding i have, and the bargains available on some of the long term divi payers, choosing them feels like a wise move at this point
