Its a conversion of the Stage 1 rollover bonds.

HOWEVER there were only $244m worth of those.

So they've cleared 40% of the old bonds. Still a win however you look at it

Also worth nothing the RNS says its just over $100m, Given that the bond placing was for $400m then we're over 25% converted already

Could be that they're being converted to close out shorts that have become more risky?

Could be that they think there'll be a rise and want to convert out early, after all if the price is at 25p it doesn't really matter when they convert?

Could it be an II that wanted to take part in the bonds to ensure success of funding but would rather be holding the shares?

Could it be someone wanting to keep a steady flow into the market to keep the conversion price down?

Any of the above is possible

and lots of small buys go in as everyone immediately puts it into SXX
