I don't imagine that the rating given to bonds will change retrospectively, otherwise you'd have high rated bonds with junk rated yields. Afterall you can't change the yield on a bond after you've sold it.

It will mean any bonds sold in the future will be able to have lower yields though

Someone else's trades are irrelevant to you. Or rather what someone claims to have traded is irrelevant to you. You very rarely hear when peoples trades go bad, unless you go into a full meltdown blaming the BOD.

If you're happy with your research and your holding, no one elses opinion is relevant. Especially on an annoymous forum

Fred - The clever ones are the ones following their own investment plan, who are happy with the way things are going for them. Doesn't matter the route, trading, holding or a hybrid approach.

What works for one won't work for everyone. Depends on perception of risk, and willingness to be out, or reduced for periods of time

Been out of the loop for 4 days, but ratings of B and B- from Fitch and Moodys is pretty damn impressive

FFC - I'll initially be happy with a step into the FTSE100.

Not sure what the sp needs to be for that, but i'll still be nicely in profit at that point.

Regardless 2025 is when i'll look back and decide if this was a good investment or not. That said its always nice to see the red valuation number in my portfolio get smaller
