The thing to keep in mind with Scottology's calc is that they were profit over the life of the mine. I think he had one calculation that had a potential profit over the life of the mine of around $90 a share.

This was immediately grabbed on by some people that the SP for a buyout would be in the 10s
of dollars. No company is going to pay double digit percentages of the life of mine profits to own the asset. Especially if its more than 3 or 4 years for them to break even. double digit dollar take over price would take over a decade to turn a profit for the buyer. Thats not likely to happen

Agreed trout. The amount of short termism is frightening sometimes. The wild mood swings would certainly imply a recent influx of traders

Chris - I partially agree with you. I have no intention of selling or trading as i have the number of shares that i wanted from the beginning. That said i'm by no means 'all in'. After a few months of adding elsewhere its now a more sensible proportion of my portfolio

Some people are happy with that though. They'd rather not be involved with certain industries regardless. They'd be making profit from the things they disapprove off, so they go for the more 'ethical' funds. Interestingly a colleague of mine is actually getting a better return from ethical investing than i am from a 'guns, drugs and nicotine' fund

You don't have to buy them. I don't. There are plenty of other funds.

They've raised some funds, and are in discussion with NAE about altering the payment structure for Redmoor. Until those discussions are complete and RNSed, anything they say on a podcast is unsubstantiated fluff. If its not an RNS, its not offical

Yes you're right nb_riley.

The board should immediately pander to those people on the board who have had their confidence shaken, and release some positive news. If they have anything that material that would affect the share price, they HAVE to RNS it. If they haven't got anything material to share, releasing something for the sake of it will immediately raise shouts of 'Pump and Dump' and 'Placing Incoming'

Afterall if actual news sees us go red, fake news will surely send us blue
