Well i'm going to carry on holding for three reasons
1. This was always a long term hold for me, so dips now don't really concern me.
2. With the number of shares i have i'd need a significant drop from here to be worthwhile trading it. The risk of the price rising while i'm out is too great for me
3. I'm equally as likely to lose money on what ever i buy instead.

My holding is painfully red at the moment, but as its in my SIPP I have a long timeline so i'm not that worried

Guff - It can have many definitions.
To be a major can refer purely to size. It can refer to a focused approach on certain items. Or it can refer to a widespread approach.

Shelving Redmoor for 12 months would be the best option for the moment. Its all ours. We're not getting pressure to move on it from other parties. Might cost a little in care and maintenance, but allows us to focus on LCCM and Cobre for the moment

We can then get LCCM up and running properly, and get Cobre sorted one way or the other.

Granted PPI isn't ideal but thats nearly done.

FFC - you asking has probably also helped out another half dozen people who didn't want to post

FFC - in theory the next $500mil of bonds are likely to be in a year or two and hopefully at significantly better rates. Theres a fair chance that there'll be a diffferent split of buyers purely down to interest and progress of the mine.

Think of it like a bank FFC.

You have an overdraft which you can go into for £500 and just pay interest.

You're allowed to go up to £1000 but you pay interest, plus a fee for going into it.

So rather than going into the £500 - £1000 range you take out a loan (issue bonds) and pay off some of your overdraft bringing you back into the preferential £500 range.

Arkey - I'd agree with you. But this tends to happen quite a lot across the markets. A few weeks of poor news flow and previously positive people (who will therefore have quite large holdings) start getting twitchy and threatening to bail out.

Yes there are some people who aren't willing to hold / can't hold longer term due to near time financial requirements, and thats ok. But there are also others who get louder about suddenly 'having doubts' who then announce a couple of weeks later that they'd sold. Amazingly when the sp dips further their 'doubts' disappear and its suddenly a 'great time to increase their holding'.

Take everything on these boards with a pinch of salt. We don't know each other, We don't know other peoples investment or trading strategy, and we certainly shouldn't believe everything people say about their trades. On some boards the volumes people claim would put them at the level of a small investment house. Just be careful guys. And of course the same goes for me. I'm just as unknown as everyone else.
