Yes its in the 250 because of its market cap. The 250 is an Index not a market. However even if the cap drops too low it remains on the Main Market, not AIM (again ALTERNATIVE Investment Market)

So if you're not invested you're either 1. Here to get a lower price to get in, 2. Here to wind people up.

If you combine two shares to make one, you have to pay that share twice the dividend to make it return the same amount of value to the share holder. Its meaningless as the MCAP remains the same, only the SP per share has changed.
