Oh god Spenny - Don't listen to me. I have enough poor trades in my history to make that risky. Do your research and decide if you're happy with the risk as is. When circumstances change do your research again and see if you're still happy.

Chesh - At current prices my stretch target is an acceptable proportion of my pension. Post bonds it'll feel rather weighty. I'd love to add and get my average down, but can't justify it to myself. The potential divi that we could see (I'm anticipating around 5p from around 2025 based on calcs that the board did earlier in the year) will be a welcome boost to my pension pot which will then be used on other shares.

I'm not greedy. The divis won't be life changing or allow me to give up work much earlier, but they will let me build up a bigger pot so i can enjoy life when i do retire

Rypod- I'm already at my stretch number of shares, which given i can't retire for 30 years will seriously boost my pension.

25.25p average for me. Way i see it that's a 20% divi yield on my average price from 2025.

Can't argue with that for a bit of risk now

That is how a revolving credit facilty works. And has been discussed here several times.
In effect its like having a £500 fee free overdraft, and a £2000 overdraft with a fee.

Its cheaper to take out a loan when you get over £500 overdrawn to pay back the overdraft and start again, rather than take the full £2500 in the overdraft

It might take a little longer than we planned, but as a long term hold i see SML as a great buy even at an average around 1.6p. Have a couple of stocks already planned for my next couple of pension contributions, but definitely thinking of adding more of these

Gold - I would agree. We had similar things with Capital a few weeks back where the shares they were lending to shorters, and getting returned were tipping them either side of the notification mark too

You either need two sides, or two angles, or an angle and one adjacent side to be able to calculate it.
