To be fair the suggestion was 1p on the next bad news, not a reasonably rapid slide to it

RatMaster - I have the same problem.

Buy something for a trade and the price drops.

Sell something because its becalmed, and suddenly news appears.

I've moved to having the mentality that whatever i buy i'll be holding for at least 6 months. It certainly makes it less frustrating but my research tends to be better

Milo - off the top of my head I have 4:

1. Brexit
2. Trump
3. Boris
4. Recent history of financing on worst possible terms

1. Far too emotionally invested?
or
2. Talking his book?

Trading should be done as emotionlessly as possible. Emotion causes mistakes, which causes emotion, which . . . ad infinitum

We've had a mil wiped off the MCAP for £85,000 in trades.

Having had time to consider the RNS a bit more, this line stands out:

"· The interest rate on the balance of A$2,700,000 is 5% pa, calculated on a daily balance basis, payable at the end of each calendar quarter to allow for early repayment."

They're clearly still thinking that the $4,000,000 is still a possibility and that they can finish the payments early

Its only going to get worse for the next couple of weeks as well.

Good money to be made for shorters and traders. But you do always run the risk of the RNS arriving early.

I know i have enough in my long term holding pot.

The real question for me is, will there be another dip tomorrow to make it worth getting a trading pot on payday

scottology - £1 would be amazing for me and difficult not to sell my whole holding at. I'm just hoping it comes as an offer of multiple £s with the corresponding price rise to match to remove that decision for me.
