Enough divi’s to cover Lostagains pension requirements - and mine I’d suggest !!

Be good to know what other prospects were bought out at in terms of % of inground value - isn’t it determined by all manner of factors - many which will be initially covered in the PEA - would be good to get the PEA out prior to end of yr - catch a few by surprise - cos I reckon the updated MRE will have been pretty much guessed (calculated) by many prior to its release. And resource upgrade good news doesn’t seem to shift the SP anyway so revised MRE alone may not bring the uplift we hope for

God knows how we got to 46p previously with so much less proved at that stage - amazing what can happen when buy out speculation is high - imagine where we will be at when that moment returns. Financials soon and that will be interesting for tracking purposes - something for goldenveg to add to his spreadsheets

Thanks guys - undervalued then in conclusion. Just need the PEA to further define economics - and then someone to stump up a few billion and job done. Bit more regional news to gap fill in the interim and more defined positive news from Aggy to steer us on our way. Time for me to buy a few more

the Canada note stated potential 800m at 1.08cu/equ - could someone remind me what we was at within the MRE at start of year - I guess what I’m asking for is what % we may have grown by ?

Hi LostAgain, it’s been a while since you dropped in hope all is well. I have known for some time that you have a significant holding in Solg but wasn’t aware it’s such a large % of your portfolio, at 62 I’m sure you are only too very aware of the risks you are taking, I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that your strategy is one of **** or bust ! Choice is obviously yours but maybe you should consider de-risking and maybe buying a few more divi paying blue-chips not less. I understand your thinking and you will have your target in mind for retirement and I very much hope it pans out for you. Just saying consider all your options for retirement the value of your Solg holding now would provide a pension (although smaller than what you want - granted). I believe Solg will come good and make many here a good few quid but nothing is a given by a long way.

I agree with you earthling I don’t think the results are already baked into the price - but believe the market is waiting to ‘fairly value’ with the newer results only once the journey of how we will monitise the findings is clearer. It’s all coming together piece by piece but it’s going to take a little time...but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again...one little sniff of a major making a move and the ‘whoosh’ effect could well surpass our best guess on SP - awaiting that day with baited breath

Blimey KB007 - what a blockbuster of a 1000th post - I wish you all the very best with your huge holding. If your a UK investor I do hope you have those shares all nicely tucked up in your ISA.

Maybe your both right. They would maybe take a bid but only if it was 'irresistible once the right offer came along' and if it doesn't then 'we've created an integrated copper-gold exploration, appraisal, development and producing mining company' so we will do it ourselves (with a little help from Newcrest). Either way the RNS was fantastic today - proves we are still moving in the right direction. We've had many really good RNS's over the last 12mths now which haven't really done much for the SP, and I suspect this one will be the same. Mr Market (like our debates) is wanting to know what's next (we know the revised MRE is going to be good) - PEA then bid - or BFS then bid - or tick all of those off and then mine it ourselves. For those of us happy (or at least comfortable) to sit it out and wait rewards will be forthcoming. Win win win.

Exciting period indeed Solgfinger - let’s hope the huge growth in size and grade we all hope for is finally announced and confirmed - I think at that stage we will move into a much higher valuation - PEA to follow soon too

Question.....Tier 1 currently or Tier 1 shorty or Tier 1 never - can all be debated. What I’d like to know (and need to do some of my own research on this) is how many Tier 1 discoveries are there globally currently that could be deemed in a safe(ish) jurisdiction and that are up for sale (not already owned by a major) - I really don’t know ? I know I should know but I don’t.

Hurry up and go up please Solg - and keep going up - beyond 25p. 30p , 35p (so Jim can get his money back) 40p to put a smile on my face, 50p to put a smile on all our faces, 60p so I can feel smug 70p (so Satan can be pleased for everyone and £1.00 so I can plan a long happy retirement !

I don’t post as much anymore as I have little to add. I also don’t learn as much from the board anymore and i don’t feel as comfortable sharing more personal investing theories - which are not steeped in the highest levels of exploration expertise. I simply see it like this - it’s a big discovery - we hope it’s getting bigger - they will probably find more as well at other sites - is it economical - who knows - will someone buy it - maybe - will it be eventually mined - maybe, will they run low on money - probably, will they find away to achieve ongoing finance - probably if it’s economical. Will I make money - I believe yes, but it’s not a given but then is any investing a given ? So all debate on here is rather fruitless and to be honest we are a little light on the debating front and a little heavy on sniping at each other- we all see the same SP and we all decide to stay or go - or trade It’s been a rather rubbish 12mths - transitionary period ? Who knows Good weekend all

Do we know which Sept - 2018 - 2019 or 20 all could be deemed soon with a 5 yr time horizon (I jest)
