Espresso I think your right with the institutional safe hands (it’s why I’ve also bought some for the kids Sipp) still need to Monitise some of mine though so would like some form of corporate action to be able to realise some cash from my investment, I’m in no real hurry but as I’ve said previously for me holding in mid 20’s is mentally easier than nudging down at the 20p mark. 30p plus and my holding becomes easier still. Are we due regional update or a separate rns on Aggy - not that I think that news on that front will immediately sky rocket the price - I’m just keen for news on progress. The end of yr MRE update and PEA release is just a little too far out for comfort ! Maybe time for me to switch off again for a while

espressodopio - thats a very good point you make, certainly above my area of understanding but sounds both sensible, plausable and relevant. I'd assume they would want revised MRE and PEA in place before moving forward with a proposed deal. Institutional investors and NM will want to extract full value here - one would assume the likes of Newcrest and Blackrock will have a view on what that full value is for them - Ive seen no institutional selling and the price has been going down on very low volumes (ie no rush for the door) - SP decline is not good news but par for the course i believe during this transitional and transforational period.

I didnt know that Escondida was part owned by BHP, Rio and Japan Escondida so thanks for posting Maybach - maybe that shows presedence that part ownership is a potential for us.

Understood Maybach - discounted not cheap and I’d agree with you sounds perfectly plausible. By the way 12 interested parties is a bit of a sweeping statement by Solg in my opinion - I’d hazard a guess all and any major with interest in gold and or copper would be ‘interested’ in what’s happening with Solg and may have even approached with a view to gaining a bit of inside track- but the leap from interested to stumping up serious £ is considerable - in my humble we need one serious suitor (two would be amazing) - I would hope NM is undertaking his due-diligence to decipher interested parties and whittling down to commited and eager parties - I’d rather be hearing about the few rather than the many now at this stage (if that makes sense). Get your point though - maybe someone could nip in with a 15-20% discounted price on PEA instead of full value on BFS.

I think Newcrest would be keen to progress this with us, they already have 14% (i believe), I just think with their profit of £440m (circa) last yr that buying us alone may be a bit too much to swallow - so maybe they'd be interested in extending their holding to say 50%. Other bigger majors may also share with a partner, but in my mind as they are in highly competitive envirnoments maybe sharing would go againts the grain ?(just throwing that out there and im under-researched as to if this is something that often happens, rarely happens or almost never happens) - I do think a Gold Major from North America could come into the frame (Go for gold strategy!)

yep possible - but id be in the unlikely camp with Earthling, BHP tried to get in on the cheap which we know was rejected - I think that was the end of anyone ever getting this on the cheap.

NM stated some 18mths back (cant recall exact timescale) that he had originally wanted $1b - but then as things developed he wouldnt entertain an offer at that level - so god knows now what he would expect with how things have now developed. (Anyone who wants to know exactly what was said as i cant quite recall exact wording - would need to research old video footage from circa 18mths back) - someone on here may still have video link.

Like that graph Maybach - Im expecting a bounce from these levels - triple bottom and all that, lets see how quickly we can move back up to 26-27p range.

Dont agree with you on the SeanH and MikeB point though - I just dont believe SH would hide behind a multi-alias - he has more class. Mike has obviously turned up to state his/her points which may not be aligned to our own - lets not get drawn in on the 'who are you' - it really matters not - if he has different opinion to our own then thats fine - people will make their own mind up if there is hidden agenda or not - but to speculate in my humble is pointless and fruitless.

Think they were aiming for - 12mt copper (not 10) and 25mo gold - Eathling and i doubt they would have stated this without very good confidence that they could achieve it.

The way I see it - is that we are very undervalued for the resource we have found to date, the revised MRE will no doubt reveal a great deal more and PEA will move us further along the line to proving economics, collectively these could well provide the catalyst for majors to make a move.

However NM has stated the time is not currently right to sell and its my opinion he would only consider to sell at a price much higher than can be achieved currently (if not he would have no doubt alrready sold to one of the 12 suitors) - now for one of those suitors to pay significantly more they need the revised MRE and PEA (they are not going to punt with a billion plus pounds), Im quite sure however the majors will be savvy enough to have made their own calculations and will surely be able to calculate a value (or close enough) that the revised MRE and PEA will bring about, recent RNS drilling results will have helped form a much clearer picture of the current scenario - so with that in mind bids may well come through prior to the release of MRE and PEA - with a major wanting to steal a mark on the others.

NM will be aware of this, so how does he extract maximum value to fend off the bid, he looks for a route to fund the go it alone strategy (whether he would go it alone or if its just to stengthen his hand is debatable) - the strategy could be the 'go for gold' strategy which is begining to be marketed - low cost easier route to revenues to bootstrap costs for Alpala - Bianca Nieves could provide this gold supply - so if that comes up trumps it provides an alternative revenue stream which then means the majors have to pay more if they want in.

The slide in the SP may well continue until how this is going to play out is clearer - but the end game and final value extracted from a sale will not be determined by current SP or indeed a potential lower future SP if slide continues - the final sale price is going to be determined by resource size and the potential auction scenario of who wants it more.

For now its painful for many - a 12 Mth + SP decline is not easy to take - knowing it could well get worse before thingfs become clearer is not easy to take - options are sell and forgot about it - sell and look for a lower entry to get back in - buy more - or sit tight and wait it out. Everyone needs to make their own investment decisions on this, there are no gaurantees, investing in mining explorers is high risk.......with the potential for high reward, but rarely is the money made without mental and emotional challenge.

No worries BNC - hope your well my friend. Life cycles of explorers, find to production (or sale) is a tough old journey for the Sted fast holders, but fingers crossed the end rewards will leave the journey as a distant memory in the not so distant future.

Also don’t believe a word Mugabe says (£15b went missing) - but I like the fact our site is bigger, our current mcap leaves a huge amount of upside even if Mugabe’s comments are taken with a pinch of salt. I do hasten to add I’m a little under researched on the diamond fields so would happily stand corrected

I’m not sure we will either Castaway but really doesn’t matter that much in the big scheme of things, all of these type of deals take time and putting definitive timescales on proceedings can always be risky (as we well know) however since AP has been at the helm good things are happening and that for me is good enough to hold and indeed add to my position. BP license does niggle me and recent vox interview with a very hyped and animated AP prior to a placing is also a niggle of mine - but my niggles are outweighed by the progress and potential here. I firmly believe this is a multi bag opportunity and in a year or two could really be a many bagging multiple. Placings can andbdo make some holders nervous but I think this one was well warranted and at an acceptable price.

Would give us more of a lift, I can only summarise that the general market is still shy of giving us the rerate many are hoping for, today’s raising was not terrible and I thought at a good price - engines still warming up here and we are not quite ready to go full throttle forward yet, most signs are good though and the diamond news was huge in my opinion, I understand frustrations as I was also in the camp that thought diamond news alone would see us into the 7’s - (I reckon AP thought we’d get a bigger boost too) I hope BP license news does come shortly if for nothing more than to finally put this topic to rest. 6 billion shares is rather a lot as well, do we think a consolidation would be on the cards in the future, time will tell.

I don’t blame them elcap - if they are making money then good on them - but they must look back with an element of regret if they sell for 10% maybe repeat it half a dozen times - but the SP goes up 500%+ they surely must have a little regret - anyhow don’t have time today to dive into traders v investors - all good here today and each to their own on strategies to make money

In my humble - sellers will regret jumping out now with small percentage gains - this has just turned into a company with real multi-bag potential (noted some will argue it always had that potential ! - so maybe I should re-phrase and say multi multi bag!) - focus remains on the license but diamonds have just opened up something very special indeed. Good Luck to those with the patience to see this through - well deserved

This will go in our favour the Italian - the longer someone waits the more they will have to pay. I guess the ‘but’ is how low will it go first PI’s will become increasingly worried as (or if) the SP declines further - been quite a while since an RNS has given us a significant and ‘sustainable’ lift. The market wants confirmation of economics (I presume), surely we must be close on having the balance right now and size and grade continue to increase - core significantly increasing so I’d guess the economics must be good enough (PEA will comfirm this - then backed by a bankable feasibility) - thing is if this is all pretty much now a given then maybe SP will begin to slowly appreciate pre MRE upgrade release and PRE PEA - unless the market is actually awaiting something different - corporate action maybe - and removal of the doubt created by NM that he may well take things all the way to be mined ! (If he goes down that route (which I appreciate is favourable by some) we could be invested here for a considerable amount of time for the full rewards of full value.

Maybe right Bozi and FR101 nothing new .....but positive articles can not be a bad thing - rehashed news or not (rehashed - makes up the typical basis of most news anyway) - granted it’s not a new rns - but I’d like to think it’s maybe the start of the swelling and bubbling towards a more positive period.
