Surely a little update is in order now - if nothing else just to show that everyone is not just out enjoying the sunshine - is it only me working !

I’m getting an ominous feeling here (we’ll sell and FO i hear you cry) - thing is I want to believe in AP he seems like a genuine chap. My ominous feeling comes not from what we are being told but from what we may not be being told - I mean come on does anyone seriously think getting the license takes this long ! And even if it does damage is done now day by day that damage increases so I’m also fearful that even if license drops in sp will rise 10-20-30% and will then be smashed back down with the exodus of sellers wanting to take a long drawn out profit and move it into stocks they have had eyes on over the last 6 mths but have held back on buying due to heavy exposure here. I want to be proved wrong - to do this AP wants to start telling us now about next news releases and building the greater appetite otherwise the RNS we have all waited so very long for may bring fireworks but could well be short lived.

Maybe a deal in principle has already been reached - dependent on completed drilling revised MRE and PEA - otherwise as Satan has said previously why wouldn’t they take some of the rigs and start drilling other areas - if 10 can complete the job by end of yr why not have 5 finish the job by May next yr and get the other 5 started on the other prime targets which may bring things back to life. Hancock is owned by Gina - she must be acquainted with NM she even has an interest in ranching - so if they want an all Australian deal she certainly has the money to cough up $2b if she wanted too (or more if NM sweetens the deal with a few prime bulls)

Enjoyed reading the exchanges and differing views over last few days - Satan - enjoyed your rinse and repeat chat (frightening scenario that - not happening here I hasten to add) and also acknowledge (as you did) that FTJKNY was using the phrase in a different context - I’ve used it myself in regard to proving a find - flog it - and move on to the next one - in future I’ll use it more sparingly. Peoples Timelines are interesting, I think many here invested in an explorer but as the SOLG story has developed many are deciding if they are happy to hold for a much longer term for potential production - of course many are diliberating from an underwater position so even if they are not happy to hold they may be reluctant to sell. Personally I’m happy to hold I don’t need the instant reward and I’m not trading it - I actually believe that NM is posturing and he will sell but if I’m wrong and we go to production then I’ll hopefully reap further and greater rewards at a later date. Onwards we go - play nice - we could be linked together here for some time to come !

Good stuff Earthling and I’m presuming debt funding would mean no direct dilution for existing holders ? I believe it will be sold too - but as the months tick by and the potential for solg to take it to production begins to loom on the mid term horizon there is a part of me that thinks the dividends that would be thrown off in years to come (as a producer) could be very lucrative indeed

I’d agree with you burnbank - my only niggle is that if MRE and PEA is muted for end of this year (maybe early next with a bit of slippage) this will coincide with a time when we will be running rather low on cash in the bank (if cash burn continues at current rate) - so would this weaken our hand somewhat when negotiating with a major or would the strength of the MRE and PEA negate any negative negotiation influenced by our reduced cash position ?

3-4 yrs to go then - if I’d have known that I’d have bought em in my kids ISA’s ! Oh well best I get buying for the little monkeys

Slow drip down last couple of weeks - which I presume will be interrupted every few weeks with regional news for small lifts. Probably good to trade buy at 23p sell at 26p - not for me though - I’d attempt it and we’d be sold ! I’d love to have some definitive Aggy results or progress on cornerstone spin-off (spin-offs surely don’t take a year to complete) - presume it’s all linked in with funding and behind closed doors positioning. BHP with 10b in their pocket is interesting - hope we didn’t put their nose out of joint last time round and if we did their are sure to be others who want in MRE and PEA later this year - so for now - waiting game - until NM moves to check mate ( we hope) Good weekend all

Better to raise now rather than to take wind out of the sails on the next uplift - understand the concerns of some wanting it to be done at a higher level - this is always the case of investors wanting less dilution - as long as new monies advance the development and sp appreciates accordingly (in excess of the dilution) then it will be proven as a good move - and if not then the negative bias will have been proved correct. One thing to remember is this is clearly leaky

A lot of money - to me this is a good move - always smarts a bit when it happens especially when I loaded up earlier in the week - but I’m cool with this development - news flow will increase significantly from here on out. Earthling welcome back mate good to have you back on board

Sardy are you implying AIM investing is full of deceit, dishonesty and trickery - can’t argue with that ! Akin to the horses the dogs and all manner of sporting events one may choose to have a punt on ! Of course there is always the Halifax liquid gold account for a guaranteed 0.001% return as we all know the banks are without any tarnish from deceit dishonesty and trickery - good luck whatever your vehicle for the accumulation of wealth - and I’ll be first in the queue mate for some black jack lessons

I’d agree with that Rover - it’s akin to a cash out early bet without a time limit imposed - unless a company goes bust of course then its game over.

Small chunk at 2.5 (should have sold more) Rest of my holding at 2.03 (for a very minimal profit) Just thought farm out news would follow licenses in quick order - it didn’t so I left the party. Any lower than this though and I’ll be tempted to join the party again - hope those holding get their just rewards
