FTJNY - if a bid came in prior to MRE update couldn’t NM just reject it (the bid) and then release the MRE almost immediately afterwards so any secondary bids would have to take into account the update ? MRE may not be quite as inclusive as if it was released at the end of the year but it could still be released with a caveat that another update would follow in a couple more mths

I’d say that’s a decision for you alone gold5 - I’d say with respect that us PI’s topping up will do little to drive up the SP at this juncture, SP appreciation is currently being taken care of from much higher powers than us PI’s from anticipation of what might happen in the future. that said I do believe buying now is a much safer bet now than it was a week or so back. I think it would be great if a third major bought out CGP - then a three way bid/auction scenario for Solg - Hancock own a big slug of land below Solg - ‘Nearology’ I believe is the word used - I said it earlier Gina is my bet - also maybe China company interest. Bottom line is I don’t really care who it is who finally gets the prize as long as we get what we deserve for our early investing faith

All good with me Sean - back in the Black I’m happy to say. Hope you had more in than less when BHP news came. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome here now. Obviously a successful final SP (target achieved) outcome will be different for each and every one of us. For me right now I’m pretty much just exhaling a huge sigh of relief that I’m back in the Black !

46p we achieved last time when speculation was high on a take over - weve come along way since then (had a little dilution) but this run up could be good for 35p + without any further news - adding in everything to come who knows how high we can go now

I’ve only got a small holding so the wait for me has been a bit of a breeze - but surely as we are suspended some news from the board would be kinda expected after such a long time - good or bad - even from a good mannered ethical point of view !

Is the long wait for BP license finally coming to an end - I think it is - so have followed up on that and started buying again - BP is just a stepping stone for me though but just have a feeling buying at these levels may not be available for too much longer

Correct howaboutthat - Solg have multiplied SP many many times over and they are still years and years away from digging up copper or gold - I believe they will multiply again and probably never dig anything up themselves - and if they do eventually get to production SP will be multiples higher again - check out lifecycle of junior explorers/miners - value is created at many stages

That’s not right investor1111 - SP will reflect value of ‘in ground’ resource v cost of extraction long before anything is physically ‘dug up’ - first assays - then PEA’s then banking feasibility studies - outside interest etc etc and all along that journey SP will react and (we hope) eventually align to full value

About 10 buys today in excess of £10k - maybe some open market buying from those wanting to extend their position has begun - wouldn’t take too many days/weeks along those lines to build positions nicely. Of course their have been sales too for balance. If nothing else with the press coverage over last couple of days we are certainly front of mind again. I’ve always said I felt Gina Rhineheart (Australian connection with NM) would want in on this and still feel BHP will not be able to have this all their own way.

I’d say it was a good time to be buying on open market - any you buy now will be under what Newcrest paid, under what Blackrock paid and under what BHP paid and under previous placement price ! Prior to MRE and PEA, nobody knows for sure where or how this will play out but I’d hazard a guess whatever way it goes buying shares under 25p will be a solid investment. All of the above think it’s a good investment paying over 25p Buy or sit on your hands - relax and enjoy the ride from here on out - the start of the end game has started
