Ship - some good advice on here earlier about a safe divi payer for your mum - just remember my story about my investments in both Carillion and Provident Financial - no way teaching you to suck eggs mate but 'safe' is always debateable when investing. For sure its gotta be better than a cash isa with inflation eating ones wealth away year on year - whatever you decide for your mum mate - spread it around a bit !

Well the fat lady is not singing just yet - but it’s a real shame how this has played out. Blame or no blame - handled well or not so well, everyone has their view - the damage is done though and my fear is an exodus for the door the moment the SP jumps (if it does) will be very real - people stating it will jump to 1p plus in the vein hope of exiting at 0.9. What’s needed is good follow up news and in quick order after the License RNS drops to catch out the traders (I believe the license will come but still not sure how many of us will make money). Shame as I have (wavering on had) high hopes for Vast

Great presentation by NM at Denver - he's begining to enjoy things now, Any invested here should definately watch the prsentation, any not invested here should definately watch the presentation ! This is massive and is looking likely to be one of the largest discoveries of all time 20% of the worlds copper under one roof ! BHP are going to want that roof to be their own, and so will every other major out there. Things will most probably begin to accelerate over the coming months - not long now for the action to begin.

Yes Sean - overall entire holding average of mine is just a smidge over 26p - so I’m currently sitting in profit and have renewed confidence. I was always steadfast in my opinion that this was going to be a winner but must admit was becoming worried that I’d called it wrong, the obvious derampers never worried me, my concerns were more focused that maybe it was me that had missed something - I’m no mining explorer investment expert by any a stretch, but have learned quickly, I’ve read so much over the last couple of yrs now that I’d like to classify myself as ‘an advanced novice!’ What I struggle with is putting a value on us - Ensa or the whole of Solg, partial sale, full sale, divi payment with a retained pot for the rinse and repeat scenario - or indeed do we go it alone, just so many options to consider. We have opinions ranging from 60p’s to multiple £’s - none of us seem to know for sure and we don’t even know yet what other tenements could hold - the mind boggles and for me runs a little wild at times ! Good to dream. I’m staying pragmatic (I’m in profit, I’ve learnt loads and my gut feel about Solg from my very first 4p buy is proving to be correct) - anything above the 60p mark (lower estimate range) would be a very good return - 75p plus I’d be over the moon with and £1 plus would be sensational and a real game changer for me and mine - beyond that I can only dream of ! Good board of people here - always has been and their knowledge and willingness to share shows good human kindness is alive and kicking

Hi Sean - kind words mate, glad you managed to get some connection whilst you was away to enable you to pick up a good batch at 27p - nice buy already that. Like you I Hope and would imagine most LTH are now in profit or indeed very close to it. I’m nicely in the Blue now - have a couple of largish purchases I made in low 40’s which are still underwater but overall my holding is up (those 40p+ purchases may well turn out to still be shrewd sometime in the coming months! - well maybe shrewd could be pushing it a little !) Agree the BHP news was huge and a game changer, an endorsement to what so many holders here believed all along. BHP won’t sit at 6% - why would they want a tiny stake when they are a multi billion dollar outfit - their currentnholding would amount to pin money for them. Just need another player or two now to show their hand and intent and then the fireworks could really set-off ! Some doomsters tried to sway people and as many thought would happen they have now disappeared - shame on them for their snidey and unethical antics. Persistent though weren’t they - still not entirely sure what drives that behaviour - it’s beyond me. I guess it’s just a waiting game for many now and watching how this plays out - holding on the way up is not as hard as holding on the way down ! (Yet) but as the profits begin to compound upwards it will get harder. Anyway glad you popped by Sean

Good luck Jim whatever you decide to do. It’s not the millionaire status that drives me on its the financial security it offers to my kids. I think you’ll get your car and a nice additional lump to improve your retirement. You do like a moan though mate...

Jim - id hazard a guess you won’t sell at 70p - if it moves up to 70p on news (non bid news) you will still hold in anticipation of the bid to come - and if a bid comes in first it’s going to be much higher than 70p so will flash past this target in an instance - so again missing the 70p we all believe Nick is not going to let this go on the cheap and will do everything he can to prevent that happening. So let’s sit tight and enjoy the ride - we all deserve it. I do agree with you though a little news now would help sustain and hopefully increase the SP - it’s been about 5 weeks since news (from memory) and that’s as long a gap as I can remember (we did have the BHP news - released due to regulation so not a scheduled rns from Solg) - I guess they have to decide what to release to the market taking into account any corporate manoeuvres behind the scenes - just have to trust NM will play it just right - I believe he will hence why I’m happy to sit on my hands right now) GLA - good few millionaires amongst us soon (not ommitimg those in the priviliiged position of already being one) - Solg buy out party should be a good one !

Copper price has been rising last couple of weeks - bodes well for the future if its a sustained rise.

I see a few profit takers moved in today - good on them - hope they have the foresight to move back in shortly - id love to be able to trade this but dont have the constitution for it or indeed the ability - nothing is shaking me out my 350k of these little beauties ! when NM sells I sell (well maybe i'll sell a few on the way up if it all gets a little too exciting for me and i sucmobe - but way north of here)

Time fly’s indeed - it’s a tricky one because I want to believe it’s almost done but I’ve felt like that on a few occasions now and giving the benefit of doubt only stretches so far. Waiting game it is for now but I bet there are a good few investors itching to hit that sell button at various individual targets on any jump - which brings me into holding of news - I think regular news drop after the license lands will be needed to sustain and hold any rise.

Looking like we are consolidating around 35-36p - happy with that from the recent rise we have had. Been 3 weeks ish since last RNS (BHP taking their position) and longer since any other news. 3 weeks is longer than usual for Solg RNS releases so thinking just on timescales we are due some news soon - need that lifts SP to 40p plus would be great. 50p plus before any move to buy us out would be ideal - still believe this has £1 plus written all over it for Ensa alone

Can’t believe we are still waiting - are we nearly over the line now ? I’m assuming other recent news is being held back until after the license is rubber stamped.

How quickly this can rise from just a few short weeks back - so much news to come over the coming weeks - and so many majors now moving into positions where they have the monies to mount a bid - none will want this to slip from their coffers and Nick is not going to let this go on the cheap. I only really dreamt this could surge over the £1 mark but it’s real and has every chance now. Sat tight through the drop so sitting tight now is a walk in the park compared to the darker days - life changer and it’s coming ! GLA newbies and old timers alike

Hi Manlord, Thanks for popping in - very well respected poster in my opinion - I know things are slow right now in (Geo) where I know you hold significant investments - hope it comes good for you soon (and me too as I hold there also) - Rich is correct - this is only just starting up here at Solg and many believe this has a good way to run yet. If you were looking to diversify a little maybe Solg would be worth your consideration - anyway all the best to you mate and nice comments from you passing by.
