Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Glint on the horizon. I own the Pref and Sterling bond. Considering a move down the cap table in near future.
Bought last year, looks interesting on "forward prosperity": 18p of accumulated income...
or even the last 2! Both bad news.
"No formal RNS yet"......you don't seem keen to talk about the last RNS? ;)
Of course you do, he got $15k
"Looks like a very high revenue earner as well."......like the auctions you spent most of the last 6 months banging on about.
What happened to the 20m top-line and 1m profit LOL
Back to being the funniest thread on here :)
https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/art/news/salvatore-garau-invisible-sculpture-auction-b1859657.html
Italian artists sells NFT for "invisible sculpture" ...basically an air filled box with an "invisible", but existent sculpture inside....
"repeated issuance" few years time people are going to look back and think "what was I thinking!" Chances or repeat issuance? 0.
No recap of the Results Pearls? LOL
Based on your previous projections it's more likely to end up as a £1.8 million loss hahahaha
Stamps are the Facebook of collectables they both mainly appeal to the older people. I think that explains much about missing out.
I doubt they would have tried this on any other platform, as Phoenix have an interest in their of non-SGI venue. It's a move really that benefits Phoenix over everyone else. If it succeeds they get a double bubble as they say...
Don't disagree, last chance saloon.
It's interesting, what do people feel about the company owned stock? How much is it worth?
March 23 could be the crucial date. At that point they are due to repay the £14m loan...with what? I can't see anyway unless they pull off something spectacular and that hasn't been the case so far. 17 months to turn it around. Hopefully, I'll get the chance at a tax right off LOL
Yeah, I think the idea of millions of people wanting a slice is too far. I also think has all the potential of being a monumental disaster. Perhaps Pearls managed to get out after all. Absence today speaks volumes .
"I had been banging on about the auction business all last year...I hope people took notice at the time"
You certainly have. Those top line sales were about where I thought. I was expecting low £10, with a chance of below, how lucky that had those out of the blue £800k sale...
I think I said weeks, if not months ago, 1.8-2p. I still that's about right, but markets over reacts, so it could breach the 1.8p
I may be a short term buyer c1.5p
I agree, Phoenix must be very concerned, concerned enough to only "lend" that last "biggest purchase" I think that's a double edge sword. If the digital offering works, why keep anything but the rump of SGI and if it doesn't work....lights could go out. Feels like last chance saloon Carpe. I may not even bother at 1.5p
You know it's bad when even Pearls can't find anything positive to say. LOL
Where's Pearls? Well, there's a reports of a billowing smokey bonfire in the garden of Pearls Tower...the brigade aren't sure if it's a burning stamp collection or pile of smouldering, worthless SGI share certificates ;)
"we have not made the progress we would have hoped for."
"Financially...bloodied"
- 4 million loss on 10 million sales...that's bloody something. If their NFC offer does work out, I suspect it's going to be game over.
Loss on continuing operations OUCH!
The usual promises for the future. "Our majority shareholder is of course our main creditor".....and lifeboat. They've done more for this sinking tub than the RNLI does in the English Channel...keep bailing.
Pretty much where I expected on turnover, c£10m....much less than Pearls £20n LOL
All would have been much worse if they'd been forced to service the debt, so Phoenix taking on the chin again, LOSS
"I think a lot of the staff at SGI are shareholders, and something always seems to slip out a few days beforehand as there's always a spate of buying in advance of the results. "
Are you suggesting Insider Trading? OMG, if that's the case. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
Insider trading and a dominant shareholder...outsiders could just get squashed or left holding the bag of dirty nappies.
Thanks for the info. Best avoided.
"I wondered over the last few days whether there was going to be a delay as previously there is always a sharp increase in buying before the results, but this week has been absolutely quiet. That infers in turn that the full results are not completed / signed off yet."
But how would they know? There's only 2 connected institutional investors LOL Otherwise, as the volume suggests, a lot of private investors who've frankly just lost interest.
Back to sleep it is then. I don't know why you were asking in the first place ;) Where is it? You knew all along.
Maybe they haven't been able to get the auditors to sign them off?
Or maybe they are just "less" "less" bad..or commonly known as "worse" and they can't decide how to break the news ;)
Let's hope not, otherwise Pearls will be demanding heads.
