Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
No one said he wouldn't push on however this is the capital markets and there is nothing stopping someone building a stake to attempt a takeover. Doesn't mean it would be accepted. Also there is consolidation within this sector right now, Iomart are a great company with great prospects and as the world becomes fully digital the Cloud will only become more prolific.... So why wouldn't someone in a low interest environment want to put company cash to use.
I think if it were to be a serious offer then yes... But without an offer the share should still probably be trading nearer a PE of 35 which seems fair for the sector and growth prospects. In SP terms that's 260+
Nice start to the day! Opened up 228 - 235 continuing the controlled rise
looks that way! 235 now
Not looking that way! Its 223.5 to 233 now!
Looking very nice this morning, rising into a falling market is always an excellent barometer for something going well!
Tell me about it! I do think its just a waiting game now!
Massive shares being sold in the dark pools today... doesn't show up on trade volume as its off exchange but a lot more than todays volume gone through outside the mkt
I agree there will be added uncertainty however that is more apparent when dealing in ftse 100 stocks as the political background can greatly change a companies ability to transact, things like utilities which are often seen as a safe (ish) place to collect dividends can come under pressure. Aim is fairly well un correlated, you will have seen some sp movement in iomart when the referendum on Scottish independence was a hot topic.
Looking good in the auction for a positive day tomorrow, 20ks worth of buyers entered the mkt at 16.29 and as the auction started the price moved away from them so the started pushing there bid prices up. Came out the auction with a mid of 218.5
that's how I ended up with 8 kids
Hi Tim, looks like someone is building a stake here, 1.2mil went through when America opened yesterday, let see if the same happens today!! It does look on my system like its about to tick up, no one is reloading the sales
Completely agree with you. However I do feel if a bid were to be successful it would have to be around the £3.10/15 mark. Since the last bid fell through the company has grown and taken on some great contracts. I really like this company and the fact the board isn't filled with rampers makes me all the more confident :) GL
We due any? it dropped off 5% in mid day trading. I don't think the sales are as in favor as LSE suggest however there was a big seller this morning for sure! cheers. Oh and that P/E ratio is very low for a profitable tech company. A fair value is somewhere around a P/E of 22 for this sector however it wouldn't be strange to see a P/E of 35 if things were looking good.
Hey filmster, iv not so much a target price..... More just a target. Takeover. £3 per share deemed too cheap by the market so to give it a number I'd be happy with £3.30/3.50, seems fair value. Without a firm bidder I think we should see the share somewhere around £2.50/60 before mid dec. DT
Do some maths. Long way to go on this one
The SP will remain around 7.75 until the issue. The actual diluted SP equivalent to 20.25 on the 19th is 7.824 pence. Once they have the cash it will rise back a bit. Just really don't understand why the BOD have undercut the SP so violently to secure investment.
Been watching this for ages and finally been gifted the golden ticket, got in at 225. This is an unpresidented drop, over reaction. GL DT
Yeah I totally agree, looked into this for clients around 6 months ago as I was looking for something with low correlation. However it's only paying a tiny divi so your returns have to be generated by growth, of at least 2% pa just to keep up with inflation. If you have long enough time horizons then this is a good investment. The demographic is about to balloon at the top end, biotech firms have lead the way with massive investments/innovations hoping to save the health services billions in the long run. However sadly no matter how much money is thrown at bio tech firms there is nothing more certain than..... Dignity is a business with a growing customer base. Inflation could be your enemy here
The 500k was a buy in the auction. 221 was above the ask so don't know why it shows as a sell
