Visitor, I might be wrong, but I think that Because ACA have not been included in the negotiations because, Magufuli would not negotiate with the then heads of ACA. Barric should buy out aca share holders at a reasonable price say the price before all this shit happened THEN they should have done a deal with Magufuli

And to follow on Just look at the privatization that the government have tried to carry out what a failure. Look at Africa HYPO inflation this is man made look at the people that are running the country ???????

when aca started in Tanz they had a contract, which was broken by the tanz government by passing new laws. ACA should have been compensated for this. the export of raw material minerals was only a smoke screen to get a better deal. all the containers that were exported from tanz have been tested by an Independent is9001 laboratory. ACA have paid all taxes due. Barrick say that the 300 million is a show of good faith LOL (a slush fund) How naive can you get ? giving away 16% of the company had to be done as tanz would have taken over the mines if not.. Tanz government would not negotiate with ACA, and they got their wish by getting rid of the coo and chief finance director they were pushed. and going forward giving away 50% of the profits going forward , DILUTION OF SHARE HOLDER VALUE. what is it How WOULD you put it. ONE more thing what is posted on this board will not affect the share price, I have said IMHO I think this is only worth 168 ish after all the changes are forced on ACA share holders. we have except the conditions as we are only minority share holders. we will not have any choice but shut up or sell which will mean a lose on money Invested.

I commend your last post. I also have an interest in ACA. But what news that has come out and the deal that barrick has supposed to have negotiated with the Tanz government is BAD for ACA and it is a dilution of share holder value which ever way you look at it. This deal is unconstitutional And I hope the SFO get involved as this stinks IMHO

The other possible aspect is that Barrick may have forced the two to resign so they could pave way for a smooth implementation of the Government-Barrick deal. As the topmost executives at Acacia, Mr Gordon and Mr Wray made key management decisions on behalf of the board and had cut a forlorn image as Barrick engaged the government in three-month long talks leading to the signing of the framework agreement on October 19. As CEO, Mr Gordon was locked out of the talks with the government despite his constant insistence that any agreements reached would be subject to approval in London. The government on its side argued Acacia was not officially registered to do business in Tanzania and would thus not be party to the talks. President John Magufuli also told Barrick chairman John Thornton on the day the agreement was signed in State House, in Dar es Salaam, that the government will still not expect any of Acacia's input to interfere with the signed framework agreement. Mr Wray would a day later throw a spanner in the works by declaring that Acacia did not have the funds to pay upfront the $300 million that Barrick had agreed with Tanzania. President Magufuli told Mr Thornton the government wanted the money paid quickly.

rbrand, I think this is funny some posts on here, I have only posted on here what i have read, which is from the tanz newspapers & media. Also the agreement that Barrick have agreed with the government Is nothing but Dilution of small share value This agreement would be OK if it was barrick was giving the 16% out of their holding and going forward the 50-50 profit out of their share but they will not (as far as I can see, (Not unless barrick buy the remaining ACA share holders out at say �2.00. Also look at aca they had contracts with the tanz government until the government of Tanz changed the laws regarding the exports of gold copper ect this was Interdependently Annalise d by a top laboratory all this can be found out if people do research. A lot of African governments do not govern well there is a lot of corruption that is why they have hypo Inflation DYOR and then tell me i am wrong There will be profit in this share but it has to go down first as I have said before.

The only reason that the Tanzanian government didn't want the management ICO and financial officer to stay was because they knew the price of what they were producing another win win the Tanzanian government sell sell sell

THE Tanz want a lot for nothing and if they cant get it they will change the law again as they have done privatization is not working and so they will try a steal what ever they can by changing the laws. All you have to do is read past research and not on this board look at tanz government as a whole they don't pay fines when they are found in the wrong, and certain people in power feather their own nests

BELOW is what barrick will give the Tanz Government. Under the proposed 50/50 economic benefit sharing, the government's portion will be delivered in the form of royalties, taxes, and a 16 per cent free carried interest in Acacia's Tanzanian operations, in line with the country's new mining law, BUT Prof Kabudi has proffered that Tanzania's 50% share will be received after all taxes, royalty and all other payments due are made. + 16% OF ACAs dividend . Lets all work for the Tanz Government
