The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Specto.... Your dislike of Thoth is evident! But do you actually have anything constructive to add? I'm sure all genuine views re Sareum are welcome on here but I'm not sure that throwing mud at other LTH's makes you any better than the person you suggest Thoth is?
Good morning Glen,
I agree... I'm also fairly sure that the market had written off the Chinese partnership anyway and that the lack of any progress with FLT-Aurora in their hands was already factored into the share price. After all the £50k initial payment was peanuts and 'potential' £900k milestone was never certain. IMO Sareum is a much neater proposition for a buyout without the involvement of an unnamed Chinese partner.
I'd be interested to read the views of the genuine LTH's here , and wish them all the best.
GLA
Although today's news clearly isn't great There's always been a big questionmark over the likelyhood of anything positive coming from the Chinese partner... Surely the fact that this is now back in house and available for re-licencing is a positive thing in the sense that it offers a potential buyer more for their buck in a future buyout?
Any thoughts please
This will bounce back massively next week.
Having sold out at 2.4 before Christmas and regretted it ever since I was v happy to have had an unexpected opportunity to buy back in this afternoon.
Sorry for the LTH's but they know this is just a bump in the road
....and to Spectacularc**ckwomble and your derisory comments directed towards Thoth.... sad that you can't show a bit of solidarity towards a fellow LTH who has consistently and generously shared research on this board!
Good luck all
"iMass officials state, that within the United Arab Emirates (UAE), there’s currently an underserved market for inventory monetization that’s valued at around $50 billion for principal categories of imported goods, meanwhile, there’s $28 billion for non-oil goods manufactured in the Middle Eastern nation." (Unlock Sept 2020)
AZ has confidently stated that we will be receiving news re. UAE (due in Jan).... We have an MOU with iMass and expect confirmation of this soon... The potential upside is vast.
AZ knows better than anyone that to overpromise and underdeliver now will be disastrous... He simply would not have been so positive about this in the recent interview if he wasn't sure that he could deliver.

I'm no mathematician but I'm pretty sure that 5m shares at 0.9 is £45k!

Obviously the hot news / anticipated news here is masks but let's not forget that RMS is a lot more than a one trick pony and that long term there are loads of opportunities.
Gyrometrics:
"More recently GyroMetric has moved into monitoring and protecting wind turbines, having recently completed highly successful trials using the world’s newest and most powerful offshore wind turbine drive train test facility at the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult at Blyth. Working with ORE Catapult’s drivetrain experts, GyroMetric’s technology has been tested to improve the understanding of the behaviour of the components in use, with a view to increasing the efficiency and output of wind turbines, whilst reducing the requirement for unplanned maintenance."
The UK gov (and governments globally) has stated that they are pushing wind energy which will present us with fantastic opportunities going forward.
This technology has a very broad range of potential applications "Important sectors for the GyroMetric business to date have been in marine engines, machine tools and wind turbines and it has great potential in sectors such as nuclear and other power stations and within petrochemical plants."
Pharm2Farm:
Masks!
But also using their patented nanotechnology they are already making advances applicable in agriculture including hydroponics - tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, salads
"Basil plants treated with Pharm2Farm’s nanotechnology grew faster, producing 33% more leaves over a 20 day harvesting period, with a more intense flavour."
Fe nanoparticles added to a normal fertiliser program increased yields, dry mass, fruit size and iron content significantly. (re. tomato fortification trial)

GC has stated that he sees opportunities in the Medical cannabis / CBD sector - already a multi billion dollar industry and rapidly growing.
GC has also stated that he anticipates applications within the medical sector relating to next generation MRI scanning particularly for Breast and Prostate cancers and for the precise application of painkillers such as Ibuprofen.
All of the above represent potentially massive opportunities and notwithstanding the current excitement and near term potential this ought to be seen as an exciting long term investment IMO.
Good luck all and enjoy the ride!
I'm being offered 1.85 on a dummy sell on IG for 1m shares .... Hold!
