Today i read a news story on Investing.com about how at last Friday's AGM of Glencore, 30% of the shareholders "rejected the company's climate progress report at its annual meeting on Friday, demanding more clarity on how the global miner will meet its commitments to cut (CO2) emissions (by 1.5% according to the Paris Accord)." This strikes me more than Turkeys voting for Christmas, as a large part of Glencore's business is the production of thermal coal (necessary for steel making). This stinks of undisguised sabotage. Yes, i own Glencore shares and, yes, I'm pee'd off.

Rant over. Apologies. Focus is now back on Cap-XX folks.

I was at my computer from the off this morning umming and ahhhing. To buy a bag at $1.30 or sell the skip full I already hold. Then i saw a comment to the effect of "Well, that's the placement done". Indecision left me holding a good few 100k shares and 50% down in value. Could my day get any worse? Yes. It could and did. My medium sized lump of Citius Pharmaceutical (CTXR -NYSE) bought over the course of a month at prices up to $1.69 launched a $15m shock, sam day institutional placing. Guess what the price is now? You got it- $1.30. Nailed down. FFS.
