wow. quick response and from the top10 Sep 2021 11:29
Our twitter account is are used primarily for customer service, and are monitored and responded to accordingly. We don’t put organic content on facebook, twitter or Instagram (i.e. content which is not paid for advertising) – mainly as the return on investment is poor for these channels (the number of customers reached by posting organically on social media is almost nil, making it a pointless exercise), and as I’m sure you appreciate as an investor in the business, our focus is on driving efficient growth and making sure we use our resources to reach new and potential customers as efficiently as possible.
We do run paid advertising from our accounts across facebook and Instagram, which has a customer reach in the millions, making this a more efficient use of our time and resources.
We have a longer term strategy in these channels however, which will land over 2022, which will then support investment of time and effort in maintaining the organic content in these accounts for marketing purposes.
