Ryan .. take your points. Look the bottom line for me in selling out last week was not in any way to dis-respect the company or it's directors. It was soley because I felt orph was promoting its garage sale which is all well and good but while we cheer the items going under hammer and money rolling in the garage is emptying all the while. Sorry for the simple metaphor but personally, Cathal didn't sell me on the future of orph itself, he was coy on the clinic bookings and brushed past the latest news in vague terms. Given that the closed period had ended for him with those announcements it was disappointing for me.
I admire Cathal that has to be said but how far can one man spread himself across companies and remain focussed? I think Orph need a CEO now but that is just my view and I respect that many will disagree. A poster earlier asked why he wasn't able to attract II invesment in orph but can do in poolbeg. I think the reason is right there - the focus and a CEO... All the ebst to everyone on here I hope you do well and if things change I'll buy back.

going through the posts here.. talk is of poolbeg, spins offs and buy backs but little talk of growth in orph core business. They sitting right here is the answer to the SP problem atm. Where is the talk of growth in the Orph business model ? erm...

Ryan... the point of the markets is that actors value shares differently. What one person thinks is a bargain another thinks is a liability. After all all market participants think they are the only one right at the point of transaction !!

Bronx that is exactly my feeling (US 10yrT getting bid and gold trying to spike also) US markets now realising that PMI data does not back up the growth priced into US stocks. Smart money moves on open and retail buy the dips; that wont work much longer. There is a time to sell and I set my limits that way. Taking losses early is just as good as selling winners slowly. I recall many many investments where people talked their way to the bottom. Each to their own thou good luck mate :)

Demon .. agree. I was very surprised at the broker re-rating and inclusion of new rationale previously never considered in any valuation. Wouldn't surprise me if Cathal announces he has taken more today, which, would go down like a lead balloon with many.

It strikes me that when Cathal was talking about buying shares he had an ikling that some large chunks were coming up for sale. Be really interesting to see the next RNS

Boris has taken the step to open up and live with it. The breadth of vaccine cover and manufacturers has no doubt left the market wondering whether this golden goose has laid it last lucrative egg for the covid HCS... So being rationale this is a market reaction to simple news for good or ill
