Seen-it... I did the same before GCP divi day last week as the last three times the ex divi day went badly and led to solid selling. Guess what this week it didn't it held the level... things are changing in the market that is for sure and with a £3m UT trade to close higher than the ask; this has legs (i hope)
Certainly the gap to 540 looks doable soon now.
The great thing about today is that it has taken out a lot of trading positions both long and short.. With the UT trade to come it will be the highest volume since 2020 and for me; it ruddy bullish for the next few weeks. DYOR
We are heading for the highest volume day of trading since December 2022....
I wouldn;t want to be that Barclay's analyst as the outlier two weeks ago. I bet their phone is ringing alot !!
Don't believe that.. We can see how it plays out into close if your hypothesis is correct. Too much churn in my view. Either a welcome day for liquidity and focus.
Nope the real moves happened at 1pm so the Barenberg release is highly likely
Berenberg bank TP 650p
Just sitting on my hands... with that sort of volume and the RSi still low it is all to play for next week when the mist clears.
Twice daily volume and especially since US opened, Not complaining mind but no idea why unless shorts closed..
I would have expected Aviva to fly also if it was sector specific. That was some move, being sold into now
Nearly 8% now .... speculation on something clearly
Jeeppers 5% !! short looking for an out perhaps?
Certainly looking very strong now ...
The proxy bond traits of this share shine once more.. Gilts and Treasuries being bought up and so is this...
It seems the market looks beyond the downside today and squarely at the future potential and some great products. Fair play to the board, it takes courage to cease production of older models in the way they did with the gap left behind.. Excellent news for us, not so good for you know who....
So far today. Encouraging, as a natural contrarian I am in the camp of buy in may for UK stocks.
I am ok with those broker ratings to be fair. The company has much to prove and the board know they have to deliver this year or it would probably be game over. I remain confident that they will, they have the products and soon to have a very well respected CEO.. As one analyst noted in yesterdays call the presence of an executive chairman could stifle the authority of the CEO but we will see. I'll add at some point, probably when the resident idiot on this board takes a holiday; or is sectioned LOL...
Exactly chill.. the limited reviews the DB12 has had have been excellent and below is an example. The problems associated with the software issue the company claim have been resolved last year and given the same configuration applies to all (to be released models) I am reassured that the claimed 40% gross margin by year end will be achievable.
